Why the ETS Engineering Graduate Program?

The ETS Engineering Graduate Program is designed to recruit, nurture and develop graduate engineers. It is our aim to develop professionals who understand both the technical and commercial business environment.

The program is designed to individual preferences and the company’s needs, guaranteeing both satisfaction and success. We are committed to providing graduates with an invaluable opportunity of understanding our company, as well as gaining a full appreciation of our mission, values and culture.

The Graduate Program Outline

The ETS Engineering graduate program is structured into two phases, while you are at University and when you have completed your studies. Below is an outline of each of the phases:

During University

 Paid work experience at times suitable around your university, paid at competitive rates;

 Generous financial assistance (ranging from $1,500 to $3,000 per year) to help with costs associated with university; such as tuition, books, computers or training;

 Mentoring with access to work experience across civil, structural and environmental engineering;  A guaranteed* 3 year contract upon completion of your university degree.

Once Employed

 Graduate bonus of $3,000 per year for the first 3 years of working in a full time role at ETS Engineering (total value $9,000). You may use this to help pay your accumulated HELP debt or other related expenses;

 A training allowance up to the value of $3,000 per year for approved professional training and development. Key Features

* To be eligible for guaranteed employment you must have passed each review phase during your paid work experience and be deemed to be able to carry out the required tasks in the full time position. The full terms and conditions of the ETS Engineering graduate program are outlined in the employment contract.

The Graduate Program Structure

Once employed at ETS Engineering the 3 year Graduate Program will allow you to experience all facets of the Engineering business and to continue to develop skills in your chosen field.

While each program will be structured specifically to an individual’s interest and skills, below is an outline of one of many standard programs we can offer:

Year 1

The idea behind this rotation system in Year 1 is to provide the individual exposure to all facets of the ETS Engineering business and operations. At the end of their first year of full time work, the individual then chooses which path they would like to explore based on their experiences in their first year. An example of the 2nd and 3rd year rotation if the individual chose Contract Administration could be as follows:

Graduate Program Eligibility & Process

We are seeking highly motivated, proactive and independent thinkers who have a passion for engineering and that will have the ability to make a positive impact to our business and contribute to the company’s future growth. The key attributes that we are looking for include:

The program is open to both males and females throughout Australia (only permanent residents or Australian citizens can apply). The successful participant must be available to work in Brisbane and also be open to domestic travel if required.
