FROM THE EAST

WM Norman C. Parker

Worshipful Sirs and Brethren,

Welcome to the wonderful month of June. I noticed that our May Virtual Stated meeting had a very low attendance. I am requesting that all sitting Officers to please attend. Remember, you are a very important part of this Lodge for it to stay open; your attendance is paramount to its survival. I am also requesting that you contact your friends in the Lodge and encourage them to attend as well. Our Officers of our Lodge continue to work with the 921st District Inspector,

Worshipful Richard “Dick” Bullard, and the San Diego Scottish Rite Center (SRC) on the details of scheduling the re-opening of the Lodges within the SRC. Currently, we do not have a firm date as of this time.

The option to hold “Virtual” meetings remains, and we will exercise that option for a few more months.

Please remember to check the “Special Announcements” section of the Trestleboard for planned activities.

As a Special Announcement: The Worshipful Master and Lady Finesse would like

to invite you all to the S. W. Hackett Santee Lakes Masonic Family Picnic. For details, please see the flyer in this trestleboard. RSVPs are required. Thank You! I would like to wish all the father a Happy Father’s Day, a Happy Flag Day to all, and also a hearty thank you to all the Veterans that have supported and defended the flag’s honor since its adoption on 14 June 1777.

I look forward to seeing you on 1 June 2021 at our next “Virtual Stated Meeting.” Sincerely and Fraternally,

Ladies Corner

Greetings, my dear Ladies!

There are many holidays and occasions we celebrate. For the month of June, we focus on Father’s Day.

And, if I may, I want to add “for our community.”

At last month’s Stated Meeting, Chris announced that he and I are hosting a Family Picnic for our Lodge on Saturday, June 19th, from 10am-2pm, at Santee Lakes.

We hope you can join us to celebrate Father’s Day and to enjoy our gathering together; it’s been such a long time! We look forward to seeing you.

Please refer to the flyer and announcement in the Trestleboard for details of the Family Picnic.
