Menus
With Shadows ever evolving menus, we look to capture the best of the seasons produce. This means menus may change. These changes will be made apparent once your enquiry is made.
Responsible Service of Alcohol
Alex Hotel and Shadow Wine Bar complies with Western Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol Legislation. All staff are trained by the Liquor Licensing Accredited ‘RSA’ [Responsible Service of Alcohol]. Staff may refuse to serve alcohol to any person who they believe to be intoxicated. Any intoxicated person will be removed from the venue. In accordance with liquor licensing laws of Western Australia, persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to consume alcohol on the premises.
BYO
No food or beverages from outside Alex Hotel or Shadow Wine Bar is permitted for consumption in our venue unless a special arrangement has been made, eg. wedding or birthday cake. Cakeage and corkage applies.
Cancellation
Deposits are fully refundable with a minimum of 14 days notice. In the event of a cancellation within 14 day of the event date, 10% of the total quoted cost or spend will be deducted before a refund is processed.

Final confirmation for menus and numbers is required 7 days prior to event date. Please keep in mind we are flexible, get in touch and see how we can assist.
Payment Schedule
To secure a date, we require a 50% deposit based on minimum spend selected or quoted cost. Remaining balanced will be invoiced following the closure of the event with payment due 7 days from issue.
There may be additional fees associatedwith external hired furniture, equipment and supplier.
