Comments for Public Posting: The livelihood of local businesses is already in jeopardy due to the widespread gentrification that has taken place in Los Angeles over the years. To place this cap would further the gap between residents trying to make ends meet and already wealthy

companies. It is important to consider the communities this would affect most.

Comments for Public Posting: During the years that I have lived in Los Angeles, I have found the community owned businesses to have a major impact not just on my life but those around me. They have been very beneficial and I feel as though it would be extremely unfair to vote for the rate cap motion. I hope due to this and several other statements, you choose to rethink this idea and vote against the rate cap motion in support of these businesses.

Comments for Public Posting: In the midst of a pandemic, I would hate for restaurants to go out of business or delivery app drivers to lose their jobs. Comments for Public Posting: Restaurants and delivery apps are a staple to me and many people I know in the midst of this pandemic. As many members of my community deeply rely on these apps and restaurants for their income, I would hate to see them lose jobs and for their

businesses to terminate permanently, which I believe could have extremely negative measures on many lives. Please vote against the rate cap motion and help the people who need the money from delivery apps in such trying times simply to get by.

Comments for Public Posting: As a member of the Los Angeles community, I do not think it is fair for restaurants or delivery workers to have to lose their jobs during this global pandemic. Many of these people are struggling to make ends meet, including my father who is a part of the restaurant business and has suffered financially. People are at their most vulnerable states during this time, thus, I urge you to vote against the rate cap motion and help your fellow Angelenos.

alimentos a domicilio. ¿Cómo los concejales pueden hacer daño a la comunidad que representan a sus votantes? En primer lugar No tenemos suficientes opciones, ¿El Consejo es consciente de que gran parte del Sur LA es un desierto alimenticio? En estos

momentos de emergencia no es el momento de experimentar con elementos esenciales como la comida y nuestras medicinas. Le exijo que vote en contra de la moción de límite de tasa. Otros ejemplos y Escoja algo que esté de acuerdo a su vida o ustedes agreguen algo que les afecta: Me harán daño porque Yo Utilizo estos servicios, ordenó comida para mis hijos y familia Mis medicinas me llegan a mi casa y así evito salir a contagiarme con covid 19 Muchos ancianos no pueden salir por sus comidas ni medicinas, especialmente ahora con la Pandemia Muchos padres que tienen 2 empleos es práctico ordenar comida Yo he trabajado en la industria de restaurantes y se el daño que les harán si los obligan a cerrar sus puertas.

The cap motion could harm them enough to go out or business, which is absolutely not what we want to do. Delivery apps and drivers are very necessary right now, and the cap motion could lead to
