IMDS-a2 – Analysis & Reporting

The add-on module Analysis & Reporting provides full use of your IMDS data

• Allows analysis of all your IMDS MDS data without

limitation due to use of a dedicated in-memory database on separate server hardware.

• Thresholds for percentages and weights can be considered in the analysis.

• Supported comparison operators are <, <=, >, >= and ranges (from – to).

• Typical “reference” for percent or weight thresholds are Homogeneous Material and Article.

• Multiple Analysis can be combined – results can be input for succeeding Analysis options.

Use Case I – Analysis for SCIP relevant MDSs

• In order to provide SCIP Reporting all own, sent and received MDSs are analyzed for usage of SVHC

substances >= 0.1% related to their Homogeneous Material.

• Generate SCIP Report (Substance Report) for all found MDSs containing SVHC substances.

A&R Substance Report (SCIP Report)

• Master / Detail Report shows resulting MDSs and referenced Substances according to previously used analysis criteria

• Detailed weight and percent information on Article / Homogeneous Material level

• Report lists REACH SVHC Candidate List as well as group/list membership (e.g. REACH Annex XIV, REACH Annex XVII, …)

• In order to provide SCIP Reporting all own and sent MDSs are analyzed for usage of SVHC substances >= 0.1% related to their Article.

In order to submit a single MDS to SCIP …

• Open a MDS Detail window out of Search, Analysis, Inbox, …

• Press SCIP toolbar icon or use the menus File | Submit to SCIP

Submit to SCIP dialog displays the one MDS to be uploaded to ECHA SCIP

• Select an unlimited amount of MDSs in the modules

• Press SCIP toolbar icon or use the menus File | Submit to SCIP

In order to submit multiple MDSs to SCIP

• Select and drag an unlimited amount of MDSs in the modules

➢ Analysis & Reporting ➢ Where-Used Analysis

➢ MDS Searches (Component, MDS / Module) ➢ Outbox

And drop them into the SCIP Submissions window

IMDS-a2 – S2S Key Selection

Next, a S2S Key must be selected which should be used for the submission of the previously selected MDSs

• Press “…” button in Submit to SCIP dialog

• Select an S2S assigned to the root company or the companies org.-units (done in Company Administration)

Define how to handle missing SCIP information in referenced MDSs

• “Assume SCIP defaults” fills mandatory SCIP attributes of legacy MDSs with below defaults • Same SCIP defaults are set when creating a new MDS in release 13

• Supports several MDS and SCIP submission related search parameter

Use Case II – Submit analysis results to SCIP

• Trigger SCIP Reporting for some of the retrieved MDSs containing SVHC substances >= 0.1%

• Check submission status of those MDSs

• Open a SCIP Submission at ECHA for a successfully submitted MDS

• Open a SCIP Validation Report for an unsuccessful submission

When done:

• All MDSs containing SCIP relevant SVHCs are submitted to ECHA SCIP.

• Allows definition of percent ranges in analysis parameters

• Fully supports SCIP Bulk reporting • Known limitations apply
