Deferred (conditional) admission is offered to students who do not meet the language requirements. Deferred students enroll in our American Language and Culture Program (ALCP).

officially Transfer your Credits

1.

Submit an application for admission,

a $70 application fee and official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended to the Office of Admissions.

2.

If you transfer at least 14 semester credits or 21 quarter credits, high school transcripts and test scores are not required.

3.

You must have a cumulative transfer GPA of at least 2.0 to be considered for admission at Idaho. Some programs require a higher GPA.

4.

A credit evaluation will be required

for all credit being transferred from a foreign college or university. Our Registrar’s Office will evaluate all coursework from schools located within the United States.

Scholarship opportunities

for international Students!

The University of Idaho offers two excellent scholarships to international students pursuing a bachelor’s degree. No additional application is necessary. Simply fill out an International Student Application for Admissions and submit all supporting documents!

Discover Idaho International Tuition Waiver

To qualify for this scholarship, you must have either a high school or college transfer GPA of at least a 3.25. There are two categories:

3.25-3.59 GPA: $1,500 Tuition Waiver 3.6-4.0 GPA: $3,500 Tuition Waiver

This scholarship is renewable if a minimum cumulative GPA is maintained.

International Diversity Tuition Waivers

Students must have a 3.0 GPA and be pursuing a bachelor’s degree to be eligible. Award amount is $6,500 per year, renewable for up to 4 years. Preference given to underrepresented student populations.
