TRANSPORT INFORMATION SHEET

In order to ease the transfers of the participants/guests to and from the city hotels (Hotel Leonardo da Vinci, Hotel Grazia Deledda, Hotel Marini, Hotel Carlo Felice) a transport service is available with two different buses.

All participants/guests staying at Hotel Leonardo da Vinci and Hotel Grazia Deledda will use the Shuttle n. 1 while the other participants/guests staying at Hotel Marini and Hotel Carlo Felice will use the Shuttle n. 2, according to the following schedule:

Morning times should be considered with a little bit of flexibility: the Shuttles will wait for the possible latecomers but not more than 10 minutes.

Evening times are scheduled to realize two staggered departures within10/15 minutes.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Because of technical reasons, buses can't stop or wait in front of the entrance of Hotel Leonardo da Vinci: all sojourners staying at Hotel Leonardo da Vinci will take the Shuttle n. 1 at the entrance of Hotel Grazia Deledda: all return trips of the Shuttle n. 1 will stop only at Hotel Grazia Deledda. Please note the walk path (approx 250 m.) depicted in the following picture

You've missed the return trip of Shuttle n. 1? Wait and take Shuttle n. 2, whose route reaches in any case Hotel Grazia Deledda, warning the driver to make the stop to let you get off.

You took by accident Shuttle n. 1 instead of Shuttle n. 2? Get off from the bus at Hotel Grazia Deledda and wait for Shuttle n. 2 whose departure is scheduled 10 minutes later.

URBAN PUBLIC TRANSPORT

ordinary tickets are available at tobacco shops, kiosks and bars at € 1,20: it will be valid for 90 minutes after the validation made on board;

all information about trips and times are available on the internet site www.atpsassari.it or downloading the Smartphone App "Sassari BUS" available in iPhone and Android version.

In case of need the participants could use the bus lines whose route is close to the hotels: Hotel Leonardo da Vinci - Via Roma: served by bus line n: 8 (called "Centrale"). The line route is a ring between the Railway Station, the city center and the Soccer Stadium close to Hotel Marini. Transport is granted by minibus and each trip is scheduled almost every 12/15 minutes. Close to the Hotel, along Viale Dante (where is placed the main entrance of Hotel Grazia Deledda) there is the route of bus lines 3, 5 and CD. In case of need, to reach the Conference, we suggest to walk till Piazza d'Italia (a 500m walk trough city center direction) and take the line CD which route transit to Via Vienna where the conference will took place.

From Hotel Leonardo Da Vinci to Piazza d'Italia - CD bus stop -

Hotel Grazia Deledda - Viale Dante: the Hotel is served by Lines 3 e 5. To reach the city center just cross the street in front of the hotel main entrance and take one of the buses descending along the way: using the bus stop placed in Via Cagliari, close to Piazza d'Italia, is possible to reach the CD bus stop placed in the square to reach Via Vienna where the conference will took place.

Hotel Marini - Via Nenni: as said before for the participants staying at Hotel Leonardo da Vinci, the Hotel Marini is served by bus line n. 8 (called "Centrale): please refer to prior information. Close to the hotel, along Via Carlo Felice, there is the route of bus line n. 5 (to reach the city center). There is also another bus line (line n. 6) useful to reach the conference because its final stop is Piazza Vienna (very close to Via Vienna where the conference will took place).

From Hotel Marini to Via Coradduzza - bus stop line n. 6 ( close to ERG fuel station)

Hotel Carlo Felice - Via Carlo Felice: the hotel is served by bus line n. 5. Close to the place there is also the bus stop of lines n. 4 and 6 (placed in Via Siglienti). As we said for the guests staying at Hotel Marini, also the guests at hotel Carlo Felice could use bus line n. 6 to reach the conference, because the final stop is Piazza Vienna (very close to Via Vienna where the conference will took place).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

To reach the Conference the line n. 2 could also be used, whose final stop is Piazza Vienna (very close to Via Vienna where the conference will took place). In the following picture the circles show which central stops are useful to reach Bus line n. 2 with the right direction. The stops depicted are placed in Via Bellieni (close to Piazza d'Italia), Via Manno and Viale Italia (all streets placed in the center of the city).
