Rick brings over 20 years of project development, financing and consulting experience to SRE. As Managing Director, Rick is responsible for: i) preparation and presentation of all marketing and project specific materials to potential clients and investors of SRE; ii) management of equity and debt provider relations; iii) preparation of financial investment and return analysis for all solar energy projects; and iv) day-to-day project management and oversight.

Mr. Mazza’s experience includes:

o Successful development, financing and project management oversight of solar photovoltaic projects generating more than 5MW of electricity annually.

o Principal responsibility for development and use of inverted lease and partnership flip financial models utilizing Section 1603 Safe Harbor Equity and Section 48 Investment Tax Credits

o Directed successful due diligence and acquisition of solar energy system located in Linden, CT.

o Primary responsibility for long-term SREC supply contract bids and procurement for customer providers and SRE. SRE was recently awarded several 10-year contracts by First Energy in Pennsylvania and Ohio to supply SRECs annually.

o Active member of national and state chapters of SEIA (Solar Energy Industries Association).

o Provides financial planning analysis for numerous commercial and multi-family housing, real estate development, acquisition and repositioning opportunities under various conventional loan, SBA and FHA lending structures.

o Former Chief Accounting Officer and Senior Vice President of Development for Pacific Retirement Services, Inc. located in Medford, OR:

 Responsible for all accounting and financial reporting activities for 58 corporations and LLCs totaling more than $1.1 billion in assets and $134.0 million of annual revenues including senior housing, low-income elderly, hotel and golf course operations.

 Oversight responsibility for all project development, financing, start-up operations, budgeting, bank and regulatory communications.

 Day-to-day project management of Mirabella brand continuing care retirement communities in Seattle, WA and Portland, OR.

 Responsible for first ever, LEED Platinum certification of a continuing care retirement community in the United States (Mirabella at South Waterfront in Portland, OR).

Mr. Berry is the CEO and President of Solar Renewable Energy, LLC (SRE). Mr. Berry has over 25 years experience in providing a wider variety of solar system, healthcare, and real estate consulting and development services. His experience includes the areas of capital financing, development services, and mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Berry’s experience includes:

o Developing, managing, and monitoring over 45 commercial solar energy systems up to 2.4MW in size and generating over 18MW of output annually over the last 4 years in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions of the United States. SRE maintains a majority equity ownership position in a large number of these solar energy systems.

o Partnering with lenders and other capital sources to provide project financing to credit qualified customers through Power Purchase Agreements, Power Service Agreements, and Tax Credit Equity Financing.

o Managing trade activity in the Solar Renewable Energy Credit (SREC) futures exchange markets. SRE is a PJM GATs Aggregator and Broker that sells SRECSs for 18.0MW of solar output to public utilities in PA, CT, NJ, MD, OH, District of Columbia and DE.

o Partner at KPMG, LLC for over 20 years. Partner-in-charge of the Senior Living Consulting Practice nationally.

o Partner at ParenteBeard, LLC for 7 years. Partner-in-charge of the Healthcare and Senior Living Consulting Practice.

Mr. Berry received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Bloomsburg University and graduated magna cum laude.
