DEFINITION OF PACKAGES

Based on the functional package selected (Standard or Premium), the customer will receive either the Standard On Boarding service or the Premium On Boarding service (respectively) which is included as part of the solution:

Standard Package - provides basic features and functions to support the Strategic Sourcing, Contract

Lifecycle Management, and Supplier Management processes.

Premium Package – consists of all of the features and functions as the Standard package, and provides

DEFINITION OF EDITIONS

Public Edition - solution is delivered in a secured, multi-tenant model. The public edition represents the

standard on-demand tenant model followed by nearly all on-demand solutions in the industry.

Private Edition – solution is delivered in a secured, single tenant model, and provides customers with more

DEFINITION OF USERS

Key User – a key user is a single point of contact with SAP. A key user is responsible for collecting business requirements and mapping processes/functionality into the sourcing solution. Responsibilities also include testing and validating the solution, managing users and authorizations, performing data management tasks and ensuring training and support for end-users.

Strategic Sourcing OnDemand - subscription pricing is based on the number of sourcing Event Owner

users.

Sourcing Event Owner – user requires a license in Strategic Sourcing OnDemand. They have full access to the features listed in the functional package (Standard or Premium). Full access means that the user can create and edit in each of the functional areas. For example, a Strategic Sourcing Event Owner can:

 Create, edit and cancel RFx’s

 Create, edit and cancel auctions

 Create, edit and manage projects (Premium)

 Create, edit and execute Strategic Sourcing reports

 Create, edit and cancel Xpress events (Premium) Strategic Sourcing Event Owners are charged monthly.

Casual Users and External Users are not charged for utilizing Strategic Sourcing OnDemand. Casual Users have limited access to features and functions of the system. They are not allowed to create Strategic Sourcing or Xpress Events, modify reports and create suppliers. Casual Users can:

 Access reporting

 Perform collaborative scoring

 Perform approvals

 Create and enter support requests or complete other forms

 Modify, but not create, Strategic Sourcing events (for example, internal users can add questions, upload attachments and enter line item specifications)

External Users are the suppliers who access the system. They can respond to Strategic Sourcing events, self-register, or update their company master data.

Contract Lifecycle Management OnDemand - subscription pricing is based on the number of Contract

Owner users.

Contract Owner – user requires a subscription in SAP Contract Lifecycle Management OnDemand. They have full access to the features listed in the functional package (Standard or Premium). Full access means that the user can create and edit in each of the functional areas. For example, a Contract Owner can:

 Create, edit and cancel Master Agreements

 Create, edit and cancel Sub-Agreements

 Create, edit and cancel contract Documents

 Create, edit and cancel clauses, sections, and contract document templates Contract Owners are charged monthly.

Casual users can:

 Access reporting

 Perform review of contract documents

 Perform approvals

 Create, edit and cancel clauses, sections, and contract document templates

 Modify, but not create, master agreements, sub-agreements, or contract documents.

 Electronically sign contract documents

External Users are the suppliers, customers or other third parties who access the system. They can participate in contract negotiation, self-register, or update their company master data.

Supplier Management OnDemand - subscription pricing is based on the number of Supplier Owners users.

Supplier Owner – has a full access to the features listed in the functional package (premium). Full access means that the user can create and edit in each of the functional areas. For example, a Supplier Owner can:

 Create, edit and deactivate suppliers

 Maintain supplier activities and access activities reports

 Create supplier scorecard definitions and metrics and execute scorecard reports

 Create, edit and manage projects Supplier Owners are charged monthly.

Casual User/External User - Casual users have limited access to the features in the Premium functional package. Such users are not allowed to create new suppliers. Casual users are not charged. Casual users can:

 Run reports on supplier performance

 Display all supplier profile information

 Create, edit and manage projects

manage the sourcing process. The solution provides a rapid time to value through the ease of configuration, flexible interface and the simplicity of adoption.

Supplier Management OnDemand – SAP Supplier Management OnDemand solution is a subscription

offering that helps customers optimize supplier management, including on boarding, information

management, evaluation and performance management. With full supplier visibility, customers can make decisions that boost profitability and enable superior supplier management.

Without Supplier Management only basic supplier create, edit and deactivate suppliers is available in Strategic Sourcing OnDemand and Contract Lifecycle Management OnDemand.

Supported Integration Scenarios:

The Premium Package for Strategic Sourcing OnDemand, Contract Management OnDemand and for Supplier Management OnDemand includes, for an additional fee, configuration capabilities and services for predefined and standardized integration scenarios to SAP ERP.

Note that SAP Service Delivery experts will work with the customer’s ERP and PI experts to coordinate this integration, but will not perform the changes directly in the ERP and PI systems.

Integration is not offered for Standard Package subscriptions.

For the SAP Sourcing On-Demand (Wave 8) ERP standardized integration scenarios the following are the mandatory components (and require separate licensing, not included in the subscription fee):

Contract Lifecycle Management Integration Scenario - Integration of SAP ERP with Contract Lifecycle

Management (CLM) OnDemand system allows for replication of Sourcing CLM Agreements (Master Agreements or Sub-Agreements) to ERP and creation of an Outline Agreement. This service will provide master data synchronization between ERP and Sourcing OnDemand system for the following master data:

SAP provides 24 x 7 monitoring of hardware, software, operating system and database. We ensure the monthly application availability of the SAP Sourcing OD solution at 99.5%. Our datacenter is SAS-70 Type II certified and additionally our operations are ISO 27001 certified. Please contact your SAP representative for further details regarding hosting and security.
