Our Automotive Service Technology and Diesel

Technology programs are ASE/NATEF accredited, having

met rigorous national standards.

ASE, the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence,

is the industry’s leading certifier of automotive and diesel

professionals. ASE also offers accreditation for training

programs recommended by the National Automotive

Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF). Graduating from

either complete Palm Beach State

program counts as one year of work

experience toward meeting the ASE

two-year work requirement for

certification.

Prepare for steady employment as a heavy equipment mechanic or mechanic’s helper and work on construction and mobile heavy equipment and diesel engines.

You’ll train on industry-current equipment in Belle Glade, under the guidance of expert technicians who care about your success. The program is offered on a part-time basis (four evenings a week) and takes approximately two years to complete.

Medium/heavy truck, bus and marine diesel technicians are in high demand. Roll up your sleeves and get expert training in this ASE/NATEF-accredited program, using the latest tools and technologies. Complete the first certificate in about 12 months of full-time days, or both certificates in about 18 months, full-time days. A part-time program (evenings and some weekends) also is offered.
