WHAT’S NEW
Covetrus Sign In
When Covetrus Prescription Management is launched, the Sign in screen will appear. Each employee within the practice who is qualified to order prescriptions will be assigned their own username and password from Covetrus.
When the username and password is entered, click Login.
The next screen to appear is the Select a Product screen. The patient’s name is displayed. Use the Product Search field to find the item to prescribe.
WHAT’S NEW
Link Client and/or Patient
If the client and/or patient are new to the AVImark system or not linked to an existing client/patient in Prescription Management for this practice, the account will need to be created or linked through this portal.
Complete the Order
After making the selection for the prescription item, fill in the appropriate fields in the Finish Script screen.
When the script fields are complete, click on the Send button located at the bottom of the screen.
WHAT’S NEW
Order Submitted
When the prescription has been submitted, a screen will appear showing the prescription has been successful.
When the client accepts and pays for the filled prescription, the prescription will be written into the patient’s medical history in AVImark.
Drug Label
The drug label has been modified to integrate with Covetrus Prescription Management. When the option is checked, the Print button changes to a Send button. When Send is pressed, the site for Covetrus Prescription Management is launched and the user follows the procedure described on the previous pages to submit a prescription request.
• Print for In-Clinic Use - used for the DYMO®
drug label printer.
• Print for External Pharmacy - used for printing the prescription in a Microsoft Word® document.
• Send to Covetrus Rx Management - launches the Covetrus Prescription Management
integration.
