▪ Finalized their indicator set under 3 principles and started with the development of specific reporting guidance and measurement units for each indicator
▪ Referred to it in the newly adopted Forest Code
▪ Aligned it with the NFI
▪ Kazakhstan
▪ Finalized their C&I set including socio-economic indicators
▪ The set was submitted to the Chairman of the Committee of Forestry and Fauna of the Ministry of Agriculture for formal approval
▪ Kyrgyzstan
▪ Used the draft set and organized on their own initiative local consultation workshops to get local authorities involved and receive their inputs
▪ Armenia
▪ Shifted responsibilities from the Ministry of Agriculture to the Ministry of Environment and is now revising the work done so far
▪ Uzbekistan
▪ Finalized their indicator set
▪ Developed a draft Resolution of the SCF “on the Implementation of the developed criteria and indicators for sustainable forest management in practice” for adoption in parliament
