SERVICE PLANS
EROAD offers three Service Plans to best meet your customer’s business requirements. Whether carriers simply need to improve visibility over their fleets with real-time vehicle tracking, or are looking to enjoy all the benefits provided by our comprehensive range of user-friendly tools and reports, EROAD has a Service Plan to suit their business requirements. All the EROAD Service Plans are based on a rental offer whereby hardware costs and service fees are combined into one convenient monthly subscription for your customers.
HOW IT WORKS
EROAD offers two business models to work with partners to suit your particular requirements and provide the flexibility to best support your customers.
1. Sales Opportunity
As EROAD’s Partner, your business promotes and sells, on EROAD’s behalf, EROAD products and services to their customers. Partners can choose to bundle the EROAD offer with their existing services and bill, and collect money from, their customers. Alternatively EROAD will bill, and collect money directly from, the Partner’s customers for EROAD products and services.
Your business will receive a recurring monthly commission payment according to how many units have been allocated to your individual customers and according to the Pricing Plan chosen by your customers.
2. Referral Opportunity
As EROAD’s Partner, your business promotes EROAD products and services and introduces their customers for EROAD to make referral sales to. EROAD will bill, and collect money from, customers for EROAD products and services.
Your business will receive a one-off referral fee according to how many units have been allocated to your individual customers and according to the Pricing Plan chosen by your customers.

The secure hardware device, the Ehubo, is installed in the cab. This device measures distance traveled with a high degree of accuracy, and also captures location, route and operational data from the vehicle.
The Ehubo is designed to operate at a wide range of conditions, consumes little energy, and can be installed in any vehicle regardless of make, model or age.
The Ehubo records, stores and continuously transmits encrypted data via the cellular data network to our web-based application called Depot where users access information and services online.
Depot allows you to view and monitor vehicles in real time from any web-enabled device. Depot is home to a range of powerful tools and insightful reports, all designed to help carriers better manage and control their operations.
Depot is hosted on cloud infrastructure, offering unparalleled performance, redundancy and security. All data and reports are stored for five years, allowing carriers to effortlessly meet statutory requirements around record keeping.

TAX MADE EASY
EROAD has developed a comprehensive range of tax services to support partners and carriers to better meet their tax filing and record keeping obligations. The EROAD application supports mileage, location and fuel-based taxes, and automatically captures supporting data, identifies exempt miles, and calculates taxes owed. Visibility and control over tax obligations allows carriers to optimally manage their tax obligations to reduce liabilities and help eliminate accidental non-compliance which translates into improved cashflow and less stress for drivers and managers.
PAY LESS TAX
The EROAD system automatically and accurately tracks and records vehicle locations and determines taxable, exempt and out-of-state miles. EROAD has developed a proprietary electronic map layer, supplemented by a sophisticated geofence tool, to support accurate and auditable exempt mile calculations. The EROAD tax management solution can deliver significant and on-going financial savings for carriers and improves the service that your business provides.
RECORD KEEPING
The EROAD solution reliably and accurately captures and generates the records and reports required to meet regulatory requirements. Distance, trip, location, vehicle activity, fuel, IFTA, IRP, highway tax and HOS reports and data are automatically formatted and stored for a period of five years before archiving. This means partners and carriers avoid the cumbersome requirement to collect and warehouse both electronic and paper records.

The EROAD solution is underpinned by a comprehensive set of internal and external controls, and carriers are alerted to potential omissions and errors in their data. DRIVER VEHICLE INSPECTION REPORTS
EROAD’s electronic DVIR solution helps guide drivers through vehicle inspections and share the results so carriers can proactively manage their vehicles. Based on an intuitive application that works with an Android mobile device, the EROAD DVIR supports drivers to electronically complete and submit pre- and post-trip DVIRs to expose the information in a timely way for carriers to better manage their fleets.
SERVICE MODULE
Accountability and transparency around vehicle maintenance is an essential part of operating a successful transport operation. EROAD’s comprehensive Service Module is designed to help carriers manage and control vehicle maintenance and repairs, and ensure compliance with company, regulatory, and insurance requirements. Scheduling periodic and systematic vehicle inspections helps to keep on top of the health of fleets and avoid unexpected repair bills.
ELECTRONIC HOURS OF SERVICE
EROAD’s electronic logging system (ELS) solution is delivered using a mobile application that works with any Android mobile device. The application enables drivers to capture duty status and generates automatic alerts about rest breaks and potential HOS violations. Driver HOS logs are uploaded and shared in real time, which allows the dispatcher to easily monitor driver hours and fatigue status via the online Depot platform. All HOS records are archived to support regulatory requirements. EROAD’s electronic HOS solution will support carriers to eliminate common violations and support CSA ratings.
ELECTRONIC LOGGING DEVICE
Innovation drives us at EROAD. We have a strategic roadmap for delivering a compliant electronic logging device (ELD) solution that will satisfy the forthcoming FMCSA mandate. By integrating the EROAD electronic logging system with the EROAD in-vehicle hardware, carriers will have a complete and cost-effective ELD solution. The EROAD ELD architecture avoids the requirement to purchase and support additional in-vehicle hardware, and it overcomes all the shortcomings associated with legacy AOBR solutions.

EROAD’s intuitive and powerful EZfuel application helps carriers to manage fuel transactions, identify trends and understand fuel consumption and performance across fleets. The EZfuel application supports fuel tax compliance and assists partners and carriers to meet their IFTA record keeping obligations. Fuel transactions can be entered using the Ehubo hardware or by uploading fuel data.
FOCUS ON SAFETY
The driver is a carrier’s most important asset. Accountability and transparency around driver behavior supports compliance with company, regulatory, and insurance requirements. The EROAD Over Speed Reporting tool provides a record of vehicle speeds against posted speed limits. In addition carriers are able to isolate high-risk areas such as dangerous corners, black ice roads, and school zones with EROAD’s innovative Virtual Speed Camera.
EZMESSAGE
EROAD’s innovative messaging solution enables carriers to stay connected with their fleet using the Ehubo hardware that sits in the vehicle. INSTALLATION
EROAD recommends the use of a professional automotive technician to install the Ehubo in the vehicle. Alternatively the EROAD in-vehicle hardware is easily installed and many clients undertake their installations using their in-house workshops. EROAD has a team of trained technicians and installers available to support client installations.
MARKETING
A range of local and national marketing activities are available to support partners to promote EROAD to their clients. Your EROAD Partner Manager will discuss with you how to best create a marketing program that is best suited to your business environment and target clientele. EROAD is an active participant in many transport forums and a frequent exhibitor at industry trade and regulatory shows.
The parties will cooperate, and act in good faith, to establish and maintain a commercially successful Partner relationship. The parties will use their best endeavors to promote the goals of the Partner Program and agree to the following terms:

In collaboration with the Oregon Department of Transportation, EROAD has published a case study on the introduction of electronic weight-mile tax services in Oregon. EROAD Founder and Senior Vice President Brian Michie co-authored the case study with ODOT Motor Carrier Transportation Divison Administrator Gregg Dal Ponte.
The case study was prepared to assist policy makers in North America understand the process by which Oregon implemented the modernization of their paper-based road taxing regime, and the procurement of EROAD’s service.

APPROVED FOR BUSINESS
The EROAD solution has received an independent unqualified opinion by the Oregon Secretary of State Audit Division. The purpose of the comprehensive performance audit was to provide carriers and the Oregon Department of Transportation with an independent assessment of the EROAD electronic highway tax solution.
The state government audit concluded that the EROAD technology platform was accurate and reliable, and reduced the burden of record keeping by helping carriers prepare and submit tax reports. The independent audit also found that the EROAD data, reports and records were more accurate than the paper-based records compiled and filed by carriers.
“This is a great example of how state auditors can help government and business use cutting edge technology to save money and improve performance,” said Secretary of State Kate Brown. Secretary Brown praised ODOT Director Matt Garrett for seeking the audit before deciding to partner with the New Zealand-based EROAD, Inc. “Too often, auditors are brought in because something has gone wrong. Director Garrett’s decision to have auditors review a pilot project before the state entered into a partnership demonstrates just the kind of innovative thinking we need in government.”
