THREE REASONS 2021 IS A GREAT YEAR TO

RUN A KYTONS EASTER FUNDRAISING DRIVE

1. “Buy Local” sentiment is running high in the community – consumers are looking to support

local organisations (like yours) and local businesses (like ours). Kytons fundraising drives are

full of quality baked goodies, including our award winning hot cross buns and lamingtons –

all baked right here in SA; see the enclosed forms and our website for the full range.

2. Kytons will now pack your individual orders (no need to gather volunteers together to do this)

or we’ll reward you if you choose the option to pack your own orders (see below).

3. Easter is near the end of the school term – so there’s plenty of time to put together a successful

Kytons fundraiser.

TWO OPTIONS FOR PACKING YOUR EASTER FUNDRAISING ORDERS

• Kytons will pack your individual orders for you.

We introduced “we’ll pack your individual orders for you” as it was difficult to gather volunteers together to do this part of the process in 2020.

Our fundraising organisers have loved that this has made fundraising with Kytons even easier, so “we’ll pack your individual orders” is here to stay! Just email us your tally sheet and then collect your ready to hand out orders from Kytons. You’ll find more details in this pack.

• Your group packs your individual orders and we’ll give you 5% discount off of your bill

Easter is a really busy time at Kytons, so we’re still giving you the option to pack your own individual orders, and rewarding you with a 5% discount off of your bill if you choose this option. That’s on top of your normal profit and discounts.

There’s a few extra advantages of packing your own orders -- The extra 5% cash bonus for your group, eg. $50 off $1000 - If you have a large order it will fit better in your car

- A chance to catch up with other members of your group while you pack

We also recommend this option for our country customers as freight costs increase substantially if we pack the individual orders as we can’t fit as much into each box.

COUNTRY FORMS

If you are running a fundraiser in a SA country area, we have “country forms” available for you

to use to help cover the cost of freighting the products to you. The forms feature all the same

products, but at 50c higher than the regular form - the extra profit per item will assist in covering the cost of refrigerated freight to your

door. We can email or post the forms to you.

QKR APP - MAKING

FUNDRAISING EVEN EASIER

Kytons drives can now be run entirely through the QKR App if your school uses this App for families to

make purchases. QKR has all of Kytons products loaded in their system – allowing families to pay electronically (Kytons will EFT your profit directly to

your school account), producing order reports for you and for Kytons and QKR can even create order stickers for you to use when your orders are packed. QKR can be used in conjunction with paper ordering if you wish to offer both to your families.

We have had many schools run their fundraisers through QKR now and they have found the experience really easy as all the administration is taken care of. Speak to QKR or Sharon at Kytons if

you’d like more information.

Monday 29th – Wednesday 31st March:

Hot Cross Bun form or hot cross bun/ lamington form are available this week. Four varieties of hot cross buns plus four varieties of lamingtons if you wish, makes preparing orders quick and easy for you and for our bakers in their busiest week of the year. Easter form can not be used this week.

KYTONS FUNDRAISING FACTS 2021

Kytons has been South Australian owned since 1938 and we specialise in assisting

community groups to fundraise with our delicious bakery products. We bake all of

our products here in Adelaide and being offer personalised advice and local support

for your fundraising drive.

While we are best known for Kytons award winning lamingtons, which have twice been awarded first prize by the National Baking Awards, we also offer a variety of other products to fundraise with – Hot Cross Buns (previous winner of National Hot Cross Bun Competition), Winter Range, including sweet and savoury pies and a Christmas Range, featuring festive fare and gift ideas. 7 STEPS TO RAISING FUNDS WITH KYTONS PRODUCTS

1. Plan the date to receive your products and call to book the date with Kytons.

2. Work out the date for forms to be returned to you. Remember to allow yourself enough time to collate orders and notify Kytons by Thursday the week prior to your collection/delivery date.

3. Put the dates on the master form (you’ll find several types enclosed, choose the one containing the products you wish to fundraise with), photocopy and distribute to your students/members etc.

4. Collect forms and money and tally totals. You’ll find a tally sheet on our website.

5. Ring Kytons with the final order or email the tally sheet by Thursday the week prior to your collection/delivery date.

6. Pick up or have your orders delivered (we can now pack your Individual orders - see separate Information sheet) and distribute to your customers. 7. Plan how to spend your new funds!

IMPORTANT:

Please check your chosen day of the week and date against the product availability chart in the attached newsletter.

Minimum Orders

There is no minimum order requirement but orders of less than 24 packets will attract the “suggested sell price to your customer” price detailed in the enclosed newsletter.

Ways to Increase Your Profit

Schedule 3 fundraisers for the year & participate in our 3 for 3 in 3 scheme.

•Receive 3% discount off your 3rd invoice for the

year provided

- Your group runs 3 fundraising drives in 3 separate terms during 2021

- Each invoice must total a minimum of $300

Challenge your members to reach sales targets to receive extra cash rewards:

•100-199 packets $10 discount off invoice •200-299 packets $35 discount or free delivery •A further $25 discount applies for each 100

packets sold for 300, 400, 500 etc.

Payment

Unless being freighted to the country, orders are cash on delivery or collection. Payment can be made by EFT prior to collection or cash, cheque or eftpos if you are collecting from Kytons. Country orders are dispatched with a 7 day account enclosed.

Delivery

Metropolitan Adelaide: Delivery is available anywhere in the metro area at a flat rate of $35, but this charge can be waived if you sell 200 packets or more (see above).

We encourage you to visit Kytons at Edwardstown to collect your order. Our staff will assist you to load your order into your car and the following is a guide for what you can expect to fit in your vehicle (no passengers, luggage or children’s car seats): For one large orders

•A medium sized sedan holds at least 200 packets •A medium sized wagon holds at least 300 packets

For Individually packed orders

•A medium sized sedan holds at least 150 packets •A medium sized wagon holds at least 220 packets •A large 4wk or SUV holds at least 300 packets

Country: Delivery to most country areas is available, but please check available days and costs with Kytons before distributing your forms. We can also supply country customers with “country” forms with products listed at 50c above the regular price to help you cover the cost of refrigerated freight to SA country areas.

Handling Stock

Please refer to product packaging and cartons for exact storage instructions. Lamingtons, pies & winter puddings require refrigeration if not distributing on the day of collection/delivery.

HOW KYTONS “WE’LL PACK YOUR ORDERS” WORKS…

Kytons can pack your individual orders (so you don’t have to gather people together to do this

task), or you can choose to pack your orders and Kytons will give you a 5% discount off your

final invoice. This sheet relates to Kytons packing the orders for you.

handed out (you’ll need to hand them back to your members if they have returned the whole form).
