Our projects

Fujitsu Enabling Software Technology GmbH is using DITAworks as a

tool for documentation based on DITA standard with immediate

effect. Fujitsu Enabling Software Technology GmbH, together with

*instinctools, extensively tested DITAworks in its own projects and

the practical experience of a large company contributed to the quality

and production-readiness of this recently introduced software.

To put this strategy to action, Burda Digital Systems decided for an Information Management solution provided by *instinctools, which consolidates data of diverse, customer specific software applications in a single data base without changing data structure or content inside the source systems. This solution developed by *instinctools takes care of standardization and integration of several media formats and offers a variety of interfaces for further distribution out of the consolidated content pool.

The system is suited for complex data integration and follows the principle of single-source publishing. This means publishing contents from a single source to various target media in different context. The same media element can be used simultaneously in online portals and printed magazines. The system is freely expandable. Synchronisation and conversion interfaces facilitate flexible connection of additional data sources.

Content of the new database can now be used in additional media formats (online, mobile, TV, print) as well as for the TV magazines. Supplying actual content to the portal TV Today (http://www.tvtoday.de/) is the first mission for this solution. It is individually selected and prepared.

*instinctools delivered a consolidated content pool to Burda Digital Systems based on single-source principles. Using the new generation of the GateOne Framework, an all-purpose, future-proof platform for integration, standardization and distribution of information has been created.

Hubert Burda Media ranks among the pioneers implementing cross-media strategies and consequently counts on connecting online and print media in order to profit from integrated information, synchronized multimedia offerings and clustered journalistic competency. Such strategies require robust and flexible solutions ensuring cross-company storage and distribu-tion of contents.

Our projects

Daimler TruckStore ordered a special software solution for streamlining faster

changes to their website content and Europe-wide rollout of their business. It was

integrated with the existing TruckStore application and allowed new possibilities for

supporting ever-increasing number of countries and languages.

Due to clear and structured editorial and translation processes, the work of

distrib-uted editorial teams became more transparent and efficient.

In cooperation with Easy Motion, the internet subsidiary of Garant, *instinctools successfully performed a range of web based e-commerce projects for Garant Moebel Gruppe. Since 2002 Garant Moebel Gruppe runs their intranet as well as their extranet (GM Easy) based on *instinc-tools CMS and frequently expand it according to their e-business strategy.

In this way, Garant’s business partners are included into the main business processes of the company.

Personalized/target-group oriented information and product catalogues are provided in the system. The process of Central Regulation, which is integrated with other applications such as MS Navision for bookkeeping, is also implemented on this platform.

Our projects

Garant Moebel Gruppe decided to build several of their strategic solutions on

the GateOne Framework.

GateOne supports their B2B portal including all brand websites. Gateone

enables them to offer website management as SAAS (Software as a service)

to about 2000 of their business partners and resellers.

A shared marketplace for samples is available to all resellers who participate

in this platform. Centrally produced content can be used on business partner

websites through content syndication.

Due to the usage of common processes, methodology and management disciplines

along with the well-tested PM tools, we ensure consistent high-quality performance

in every project we work on.

Effective communication between customer and project team facilitated by

exceptional Project Management are the most important success factors for

all projects. Due to our extensive international experience, we have

devel-oped a secure and effective communicational infrastructure and a
