New Lease Layers for Map

Access over 13 Million Federal Land Records

Enerdeq Browser now has access to the Premier Geo PDS Studio database. The database provides access to millions of BLM land records including Oil & Gas lease, units, participating areas, communitization agreements, right of ways, coal leases and mines, Federal mineral rights, Oil & Gas lease sale parcels and results, mining claims and much more. Whether you are searching for information for mergers and acquisitions, business development, exploration, exploitation and more, the new Land dataset provides an invaluable source of Oil & Gas lease information and GIS data.

New Bubble Map Feature (Analysis Tool) IHS Enerdeq Browser Release Notes 2.2

New Bubble Map Feature (Analysis Tool)

Use the Analysis Tool button on the Map toolbar to create bubble maps of cumulative production volume, or last month's production volume.

Note: The Analysis tool is for use with Allocated Production data only.

To use a bubble map to analyse production volume

1. Click the Analysis Tool button on the Map toolbar. The Analysis dialog box is displayed.

3. Specify a field value.

4. Select the number of classifications you want to display on the Map, from three to seven.

5. Click the Detail link.

The classification ranges are displayed for the number of classifications you specified.

The end range for each classification is now editable.

Note: Monthly production is averaged on a monthly basis (30.4

days/month). Daily and monthly production will have different averaged ranges.

7. At any time before you click the Done button , you can reset the ranges back to the values they were by clicking the Reset Range button .

8. Edit the ranges, and then click the Done button.

9. Select formations of the wells for which you want to see bubbles by select the check box next to the formation name.

10. Click Apply to view your bubble map.

11. The bubble map displays for the wells within the Map window. If you pan the Map, the bubbles will be applied to the new set of wells.

12. If you pan the map, or zoom in or out, you can use the Recalculate Range button to recalculate the ranges according to the map screen and zoom level.

13. To remove bubbles from the map, click Remove in the Analysis Tool dialog box.

This new feature has now been included as an option

within the Select Tool.

When selecting data from the Map view, you now have the option to select data within a polygon.

Note: Any available Polygon layers are functional with this feature, but you must

have at least one such layer active in your Map view.

New Features for Excel Workbooks IHS Enerdeq Browser Release Notes 2.2

Updated Query

Location Date has been changed to Rig Onsite Date in the Activity Data query.

New Features for Excel Workbooks

 A new.xlsx (Excel 2007+) format has been added to the Production Workbook for new exports. The output can now be placed in one file rather than multiple files.

Note: We will no longer support versions of Excel 2000 and earlier.

 When exporting to an Excel Well Workbook, perforation tests are numbered according to the order in which they were performed.

New Favorites Feature for Queries

At any time during your query, you can click the Favorites button in the Criteria Selector to make it one of your favorite queries. Your favorites display at the top of the attribute list on the left. Up to 10 queries can be saved at one time. If you select more favorite queries, the oldest queries will be dropped from the Favorites list.

For Production queries, volume attributes in the Production group have been listed together.

New Meridian Map Link

A new link to a Meridian Map has been added to the Grid – Congressional query. Additionally this reference table is now sortable on the Meridian name.

The Map is scrollable and displays all contiguous United States. A Meridian column is available in the Location – Grid – Congressional query.

You now can limit the amount of Production data you see when running the Detailed Production, Production/Injection, or Production One-Line reports. Specify the number of months of production you want to see by entering a number in the Show text box.

Bug Fixes

A number of issues have been addressed with this release. The following items are a sampling of the most significant issues.

Tab-delimited exports now correctly export into Excel in the same tab-delimited format.

Lognet now opens correctly when querying in Full Browse Mode. Map labels now display on saved Maps.

Clicking a Quick View (Report) icon in the Browse List now correctly displays a quick report for the selected record(s).

The Congressional location on dmp2 Production exports now accurately displays in order (Sec, Twp, Rge).

The Advanced Sort feature on the Browse list now sorts the list correctly for both alpha and numeric characters (alpha first, and then numeric).

Operators AND and OR are now working correctly on Production Allocated queries.

The Exclude feature now works correctly when querying Production Allocated data.

Recommended Browser Settings

For optimum performance, you are highly encouraged to incorporate the following recommended settings into your internet browser prior to working with the IHS Enerdeq Browser application.

IHS Enerdeq is compatible with Internet Explorer (IE) 8 and 9, Mozilla

Firefox and Google Chrome. The discussions below discuss how to

optimize your setup.
