Internode Virtual Private Servers offer an environment for customers who need a dedicated server hosting solution without the high costs, maintenance, or management overhead.
All Internode VPS solutions are located and supported within Australia—not off shore. This ensures excellent domestic connectivity and fast response times, as traffic does not need to come from (typically) the USA.
Features include leading brand name servers (including IBM), redundant power supplies, fans, and dual-path fibre channel controllers. Each server is connected to fast (15k) SAN storage in RAID configurations with Hot Spares. The SAN storage features redundant controllers, power supplies, and fibre channel switching.

4.2. Server Connectivity
A Virtual Private Server can be connected in several different ways depending on its use and requirements. If ‘Private Connectivity Only’ is chosen, ensure you have a way to access the server as it is not visible via the Internet—for example, VPN capabilities to your Virtual Data Centre.

Additional Notes
Contract Term
■ The Contract Term begins when all of the Service(s) to which this Application relates have been commissioned and are available for your use. Note
that the Contract Term may affect pricing—contact your Internode Account Manager if clarification is required. This agreement will continue in full force and effect after the expiration of the Contract Term until terminated by you or Internode, either pursuant to the Customer Relationship Agreement, Business Customer Relationship Agreement, or Master Services Agreement (as applicable) or for any reason by giving the other party sixty (60) days written notice.
■ During the Contract Term, the Early Termination Charges are the fees owing for the remainder of the Contract Term from the date of cancellation.
The parties acknowledge and agree that the Early Termination Charges are a genuine pre-estimate of the loss that Internode will suffer if this agreement terminates early and is not a penalty. The parties agree that this clause meets the requirements of Early Termination Charges defined in the definitions section of the Customer Relationship Agreement, Business Customer Relationship Agreement, or Master Services Agreement (as applicable).
Note on the BCRA and MSA
■ If a Business Customer Relationship Agreement (BCRA) or Master Services Agreement (MSA) is provided with this Application, that BCRA or MSA
will apply to all goods and services that you receive from Internode, including those described in this Application. If you did not receive a BCRA or MSA with this application, the most recent BCRA or MSA that you signed shall apply. If you have never received an MSA or BCRA, the
Customer Relationship Agreement will apply (available online at www.internode.on.net/legal).
Virtual Private Server Environment
■ Internode’s Virtual Private Server products operate in environments that have been optimised for the solutions they provide. This environment
(refer www.internode.on.net/vps for details) may be upgraded or modified by Internode at any time, for security or operational purposes.
■ An online portal is supplied that allows management and monitoring of your server and data usage, this also includes the capabilities to stop,
start, and restart your servers
■ If you select an option that requires a Microsoft licence then you accept and agree to Microsoft’s End User License Terms and agree pricing is
subject to change from time to time. Further details are available in the Internode Virtual Private Server Service Description.
■ The Service must not be used for an unlawful purpose or interfere or disrupt other network users, network services or equipment. The
definition of disrupt is very broad and includes, but not limited to, unsolicited advertising, falsification of identity, harassment of other users or compromising the security or integrity of passwords or network information.
Billing Information
■ Tax invoices and other notifications will be sent to the email address that you have specified in the Customer Details section of this form. ■ Posting of paper invoices is available but discouraged for environmental reasons, and if requested will attract a $1.50 surcharge per invoice. ■ Full details on our payment options are available at www.internode.on.net/payments.
■ Credit card surcharge: Payments via Visa or MasterCard incur a $0.99 surcharge per transaction; and payments using American Express or Diners
Card incur a surcharge of 2.5% of the transaction value.
■ There are no surcharges for BPay, Direct Debit, Direct Credit, Cheque, Money Order, Cash, or EFTPOS.
■ This agreement will continue in full force and effect after the expiration of the contract term (as indicated in this Application) until terminated
by you or Internode, either pursuant to the Customer Relationship Agreement, Business Customer Relationship Agreement, or Master Services Agreement (as applicable) or for any reason by giving the other party 3 months written notice. You agree to pay Internode all fees arising until the end of the above mentioned notice period.
Other Important Information
■ The Virtual Private Server service is normally provisioned within 5 days and activated by Internode no later than 7 days thereafter at which time
