COMMUNICATION

DICOM is the new trade fair devoted to visual communication in Madrid

organised by Ifema.

This event has been conceived as a solid and definitive platform for promoting the development of the industry in the Iberian market.

This fair of marked trade character, focusing on the realm of technological innovation, seeks to become a meeting forum for not only the traditional printing and visual communication market, but also for the new printing and personalisation techniques offered by new applications.

The event also includes a clearly differentiated section devoted to "Digital Signage", which presents a clear synergy with regard to the rest of the

segments summoned together at DICOM, thus strengthening the event's appeal for new demand groups.

Activities

DICOM, in accordance with widespread opinion within the industry, seeks to promote professionalization through the staging of conferences, workshops, roundtables and training seminars, thus facilitating the exchange of know-how amongst the different representatives of the industry and ensuring the consolidation and enrichment of the visual communication field.

With this goal in mind and with a view to providing information to these new buyers, the fair will also present the "Applications Laboratory", where visitors

can gain a first-hand insight into the possibilities that the industry offers in terms of new supports and materials.

In this area within the hall, exhibitors can contribute their ideas in search of

new market niches, thus helping to impress and convince visitors. And all in Madrid and at the best venue: Feria de Madrid.
