Association Executives

To Association Executives:

360 Calls - State and local Association Executives engage in a monthly conference call to discuss various association topics and issues and to create solutions and programs.

The Association Executive Committee (AEC) formally meets four times a year.

Mass AE Talk is an email listserv where Association Executives share ideas and solicit input on a wide range of topics on an as-needed basis.

Association Executives are connected through closed group social media groups.

To Delegate Assembly:

The Chair of the Association Executive Committee provides a report to the Delegate Assembly at its annual meeting.

Every local association has at least one of its members who sits on the Delegate Assembly. The local Realtor- member is the local Association Executive’s conduit to the Delegate Assembly.

To Board of Directors:

There is one local Association Executive who sits on the Board of Directors and can share information from the AEC, “360” calls and other interactions between them.

To Leadership Development:

• Association Executives attend the LDC annual planning meeting. • Association Executives provide advice on potential leaders.

• Association Executive provides information for the LDC to create applications. • Before every LDC meeting the AEC Chair meets with the LDC Chair.

• LDC developed video boot camp training series for members.

To Committee Members/Chairs:

To Professional Staff:

AEC provides input on leadership training and works with staff to develop.

To Association Membership:

• Association Executives execute local meetings and events for their members.

Core standards require local associations to use best practices to communicate with their members consistently.

Delegate Assembly

To Association Executives:

Association Executives Committee Chair attends meetings as a guest to report back to AEC.

Association Executives communicate regularly with local Association representative of Delegate Assembly.

To Delegate Assembly:

Consistent communication through a closed Social Media Group. Through attendance at their meetings.

To Board of Directors:

• President, who chairs Delegate Assembly, would serve as the conduit on information. • Local representatives on Delegate Assembly can communicate issues to the Board. • Closed Social media group which includes both Board and Delegate Assembly.

• Annual Future Leaders Meeting (held at MAR Conference) where groups meet together to discuss future leadership trends, training and goals.

To Leadership Development:

• Annual Future Leaders Meeting (held at MAR Conference) where groups meet together to discuss future leadership trends, training and goals.

To Association Membership

An Annual report of the Association programs, services, financials and membership research will be distributed. Delegate Assembly meeting reports will be posted on the Association website.

• Reports of actions of the Delegate Assembly will be sent to the membership via email newsletter.

Board of Directors

To Association Executives:

There is one local Association Executive who sits on the Board of Directors and can share information to the AEC. Board regional reps attend local meetings to exchange ideas.

To Delegate Assembly:

• Consistent communication through a closed Social Media Group.

• Annual Future Leaders Meeting (held at MAR Conference) where groups meet together to discuss future leadership trends, training and goals.

To Board of Directors:

• Consistent communication through a closed Social Media Group.

• BOD members communicate with each other at their quarterly meetings.

Interact on application process with final approval on new task forces and applications necessary for them.

To Committee Members/Chairs:

Board members will attend committee meetings (virtually or live) at least twice a year.

• Board members will host bi-monthly calls and provide updates to committee chairs for updates.

To Professional Staff:

CEO who attends all Board meetings will update professional staff as necessary.

• Board will communicate motions and intent to professional staff to implement Association best practices.

To Association Membership:

• Quarterly webinar to inform, provide committee reports, share ideas and field questions. • Board interacts with members at local meetings and events.

• Board requests information from membership via membership surveys.

Leadership Development

To Association Executives:

• LDC hosts annual meeting with Association Executives to collaborate on application process, training and volunteer recruitment.

• Before every LDC meeting, LDC chair consults with AE chair for continual input. • LDC developed video boot camp training series for members.

To Delegate Assembly:

• Consistent communication through a closed Social Media Group.

• Annual Future Leaders Meeting (held at MAR Conference) where groups meet together to discuss future leadership trends, training and goals.

Sharing recommendations on volunteer candidates.

Promotes recruitment programs encouraging member volunteerism. Encourages participation in the membership profile.

AE liaison is assigned to every committee for flow of information. AE liaison must share minutes with Association Executives Committee. Committee members participate in Local training conducted by AEs.

To Delegate Assembly:

Committee chairs provide reports for inclusion in the Annual report from Delegate Assembly. Committee member share information to Delegate Assembly through Local representative. Quarterly webinar to inform, hear committee reports, share ideas and field questions.

To Board of Directors:

Committee chairs provide reports to BOD quarterly.

Board members will attend committee meetings (virtually or live) at least twice a year. Board members will host bi-monthly calls with committee chairs for updates.

To Leadership Development:

Committee Chairs file ratings reports on member performance to improve processes to LDC.

To Committee Members/Chairs:

• Consistent communication through a closed Social Media Group. • Work with each other in committee meetings.

• Participate in quarterly webinar to inform, hear committee reports, share ideas and field questions.

To Professional Staff:

• Committees will communicate motions and intent to professional staff liaisons to implement Association best practices. • Committee members will seek assistance on meeting processes, program guidance from professional staff.
