Unit 13 website design
Introduction
I have been tasked with making a website for a company and they need me to make that website so it is suitable for all the users/costumers, if they have problems or not like some people might have problems with reading on some back gourds and how can I help them to make it easier for them to read. I will be making this website to help people with disability be that with reading or others this site will be able to handle mostly every disability and have a friendly inter faces so that the costumer will be able to find what item they are looking for. I also to make the costumer like the websites so that they might buy more from this website or suggest it to a friend. The target audience that my website will be targeting will be 13+ as every one young and old use a phone now as it is a main form of commutation in the world.
The colours that I use will might be a black back ground with brown boxes and there will be white writing so it will be clear for the reader to read and there will be different shaded so that some of the writing will not stand out but still be there if you need do look at.
This will help the user if they a looking for one type of phone and they know the name of it so they can find the phone that they want to buy easily from my web site.
I have a prices range so that people can change the way out of the page so they can be in order or not. The ranges will range from high to low, low to high and most popular so that the customer will be able to find what they want to find with no hassle.
The size of my words on my page are 18 so that people that have eye site problems will be able to understate easier.
This will allow the user to have the choices to login/register so they can be able to have their bank details saved on the site if you are buying from my site they will also be safe on my site. It will also have a Basket so that you can go and pay you items you want.
This is my menu bar this will link people to all my other sites and will send them to a set brand if they want I wide search for the phone on their choices.
This will be so that people that want further information can call/email me so they can get more help on finding out what they need help with.
Least up dated show the viewer when my page id up to data and when it was lasted up dated so they can might know if I have any of the new phones.
In my web pages I have changed it from the home page to show more structure then my home page as you can see I have put in a table so that people will be able to understand it easier and be able to see the information about the phone they want to buy. I haven’t changed where the hyperlinks are from the home page so the user does not get confused when they are look at it because if it was a different design the user might find it annoying if it carried on changing and did not have the some structure that it has on all the other pages. I have also added a home batten so that the
user/costumer will be able to get back to the home page. I have made all the other pages that the home page and other pages will link to (Shown below).
On every page I have changed the title so that people will know what page they are on and what phones they are looking at. Text on my work will be on a font that is called FELIX TILLTING I have found that the type of font is easy for people to read and to understand and this will be on all my website pages so the user/costumer does not get annoyed with the differences in the font. The size of all my writing will be 18 so people with bad site will be able to read the information on the website this will count for my hyperlinks on it might be different for information about the phones. I might be in early devilment of this websites but I’m still looking at access ability for other people so that they can find what they want without the struggle.
There are different ways to give assess ability but the ones that I’m looking at right now are is to let the user/customer be able to change the background to what colors will help them read the
information better for them. For the user/customer satisfaction I will make sure that the web site will have proper punctuation so that it will be easier for the user/customer to read the information, or if they have software reading or someone reading for them it would be in understandable chunks. I will also use proper English so that the user/customer will be able to understand it and not use aberrations for example u=you.
When I was making my website I rejected some website designs because I felt that the viewer would not like the other ideas for the website that I can up with I got a lot of feedback from people and they said they like this design the best because, it is easy for them to navigate around and it had consistency unlike some of my other designs I have also chosen this design because I felt that the costumer would enjoy my lay out of the website because it has an easy set up so that the customer will have an easy time to find information because it is all on the pages and all the information will be on each page so that when you change to another link on my website the information will be in the same places as it was on the home page or other pages.
After looking at feedback
As you can see from above I have changed the layout of my website to soot that the usurers would like more I have changed the drop-down table so that is a table to a side menu so that the costumer can find the information easier. I have also added more information as you can see in the table that I
have added to say if it is in stock or not, information about the phone and I have added a search bar as well so that the user will be able to find the phone that they want. I have also added more design to it so it does not as basic. The first one on the left is my alternative design that I did not chooses because of feedback that I got you can see this feather up the page they are the emails that I got from people that saw my website design.
I have been think that I could set up a CSS that will set up all the coding with different fonts I haven’t done much on this but it is a think that I am thinking about to use and that I would like to do in my website to help me and my users to make it easier for them to read and understand. When setting up the webpage I would use CSS files can help define font, size, colour, spacing, border and location of HTML information on a web page so that the font will all ways be the same the background will be the same, the way this works is by you putting information into a box and they will give you the coding so that you can put it in your webpages so that it is all the same on every page of the site. CSS stand for Cascading Style Sheet.
I have considered the software availability and how this will affect the website design as I will have limited supply but I will use different programing like HTML and others so that I can make the website as I can only use my limited skill of using programing, so it will impacted me a lot but I will try to give all the accessibility that I want to put into the website that I am making but I will use CSS, scripts and hyperlinks to make the website as good as I can.

I will do a lot of tests to check that their site will work by me setting it up and looking to see if the font will work on all browsers and it would not change how it looks on the website and make it look strange. I will also check if the images are not pixelated and that they look good on the website and make sure that they do not take long to load. I will make sure that the colours on the back ground are the same on all browsers so that the colour does not change and looks mostly the same. I also have to check if all my hyperlinks work so that the user/costumer can get to what they are looking for if the link works. When I’m testing the websites I will check that the website will lode fast with all the pitchers and videos on it.
