Welcome to McAfee Multi Access
The security app that protects
your devices. All at once.
McAfee Multi Access protects your PCs, Macs, laptops, tablets and smartphones, except Windows Phones and BlackBerry smartphones, from viruses, spam, malware and identity theft. Once installed, if any devices are lost or stolen they can be tracked, locked, backed up or wiped. All from your online management console.
The package also includes McAfee TrueKey, which stores all your usernames and passwords securely too.
It’s all pretty advanced, as you’d expect from the world’s largest security company. But relax. It’s easy to set up. And you can install it on up to five devices.
This step-by-step guide will take you through how to install McAfee Multi Access licences on your devices.

McAfee Multi-Access can be installed onto the following devices and operating systems.
Minimum requirements are:
iOS:
• iOS 6.0+ • iPhone 3GS+ • iPad 1+
Android:
• Google Android 2.3 or higher
Windows
• Windows Vista SP1 (32-bit and 64-bit) • Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit) • Windows 8 (32-bit and 64-bit) • Windows 8.1 (32-bit and 64-bit) • Windows 10 (Intel only)
• 1GB RAM for Vista and Windows 7 • 2GB RAM for Windows 8 and above • 500MB free drive space

Manage your devices
Clicking Manage your devices will
take you to the McAfee MyAccount log in page.
Click Forgot your password?
Enter your email address and a reset link will be sent to you.
The welcome email
You’ll get an email from ø to let you know that you have been set up as a user with a McAfee Multi Access account. If you can’t find the email, check your junk and spam mailboxes.
You’ll be given the option to protect your devices now or manage your devices from the email.

Click Protect your devices now to
protect different devices. We’ll show you how in this guide.
Setting up your
Windows PC

Step 2
You’ll be taken to the McAfee download page. Under the PC tab you can download
McAfee Multi Access for Windows. Click Download.
Step 1
Open the welcome email on the PC you want to protect and click Protect your device now to get started.
Step 3
Once you’ve read and accepted the licence agreement, click
Agree and Download.
Step 5
The software download should now be complete.
Your device should appear as one of your protected devices in your McAfee MyAccount.
Top tip
Protect more devices straight from the software by clicking + protect more
from the home page.
Step 4
Follow the download process by clicking Next and reading the steps.

Continue through the download process by clicking Next.
If it’s the first time you’ve used TrueKey, you’ll need to create an account. Or you can the log on using the details created for your other devices. And that’s it. You’ve now successfully installed McAfee TrueKey.

To download TrueKey, complete step one as before but this time click Get Started

You’ll be taken to the McAfee download page. Under the Mac tab you can download McAfee Multi Access for Mac.
Click Download.
Step 3
Once you’ve read and accepted the licence agreement, make a note of the serial number and click Download.

Open the welcome email on the Mac you want to protect and click Protect your device now to get started.
Step 5
Your device should appear as one of your protected devices in your McAfee MyAccount.

Click through the download process and enter your serial number when prompted.
Click Finish when the process is

If it’s the first time you’ve used TrueKey, you’ll need to create an account. Or you can log on using the details created for your other devices. And that’s it. You’ve now successfully installed McAfee TrueKey.

To download TrueKey, complete step one as before but this time click Get Started
under the TrueKey section.

Open the welcome email on the Android device you want to protect and click
Protect your device now to get
started.

You’ll be taken to the McAfee download page. Under the Mobile tab you can download McAfee Multi Access for mobile.
Click Download.
Step 3
Once you’ve read and accepted the licence agreement, click Agree and Download.
Step 5
Open up the McAfee application on your device and enter your activation code. And that’s it. You’ve successfully installed McAfee Multi Access for Android.
Step 4
You’ll be taken to the Google Play Store. Press Install and Accept to download.
If you have the Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 edge, skip to page 16.
Step 6
Your device should appear as one of your protected devices in your McAfee MyAccount.
From here you can back up, wipe, locate, sound the alarm, change your PIN and even view the backed up data on your device.

Click Got an activation code and enter
the activation code that you had in your email or text.
Step 6
When you open up the McAfee application you’ll see the McAfee Security search features. To activate the full McAfee Multi Access, click Activate now on the Backup or Find device tab.
Step 8
Enter your email address and a six digit pin code to complete the setup. Click Next to complete the setup.
Step 2
You’ll be taken to the Google Play store. Select the app and click Install.
Once you’ve downloaded it, you can create a profile.
Setting up TrueKey on your Android device
Step 3
If this is your first download of TrueKey, you’ll need to create a new account.
If you already have an account, use the same login details.
And that’s it. You’ve successfully installed McAfee TrueKey.

You’ll be taken to the Apple App Store. Click Get to download the application.
