Reports At Your Fingertips

* Past Due Policy Report

* Pending Policy Report * Production-based Reports

* Policy and custom reports are also available and, most importantly, you can access reports at your convenience - 24 hours a day.

To begin, open your web browser and go to:

ReportLink User Guide

Once you are logged in, you will find an information screen for Reportlink. Select NGL ReportLink.

Once at the Precoa main page, select the appropriate login in upper right corner of the screen.

At the main portal (or resource tab for counselors), you will be given four options to select from. The Reportlink access is available under the Reports button.

This page displays the instructions to personalize your Home Page and displays your choice of report folders. Click Personalize InfoView Now to get started.

Personalize InfoView

Under the General tab click on My InfoView and then click OK at the bottom of the page.

Although there are other options displayed in this section, we

recommend that you do not make any other changes in order to optimize your Report Experience.

Choose Template

Click on My InfoView and choose the template you like. You can choose to display one report or up to five reports. Click Define Content to choose which report(s) you would like displayed.

Please Note: You will have to repeat this step for each report you want to display. When you try to change a Template, a window will pop up asking if you are sure you want to continue. Click OK to save your changes or Cancel to discard them.

Under Object, click the + to the left of the Public Folders and choose your report.

Please Note: You will have to repeat this step if you choose to display more than one report.

General

Miscellaneous policy reports, including Past Due, Pending, Hierarchy and Persistency Reports

Production Reports

These reports measure agent production activity net of all first year terminations, with the exception of the Custom Report, where this activity is optional. Policies are included based on the date the policy was actually issued by NGL (even if the policy effective date is back-dated or future-dated on applications).

Viewing Reports

Public Folders

To start viewing your reports click the + button to the left of the Public Folders link to view report folders. Select General or Production Reports.

General Reports

To reach these reports go to: Public Folders > General

Report Example

Past Due Policy Report

Report Descriptions:

Hierarchy Pending Policy Report - Listed by hierarchy - pending policies, requirement descriptions and activ-ity dates.

Past Due Policy Report - Listing of policies that are 7-55 days past due. Excludes any fully paid-up, single pay, reduced paid-up and policies set up for monthly EFT or credit card.

Persistency Report - Current agent persistency, updated every Tuesday. Multi-pay policies only.

Policy Cards - Search by Client - Printable policy cards for record-keeping. This report lets you search for a spe-cific client.

Policy Cards - Search by Issue Date - Printable policy cards for record-keeping. This report lets you search for policies based on the dates they were issued.

Policy Cards - Search by Policy - Printable policy cards for record-keeping. This report lets you search for a specific policy number.

Policy List Report - Includes all policies that the producer received production credit for, including overrides. The report should be exported to an Excel file in order to view it. To export: Select Microsoft Excel - Data Only (XLS).

Production Reports

Report Descriptions:

Production - Custom - Production report customizable by date range, by agent (optional), policy detail or sum-mary, and type of activity - Gross, Net of Not Takens, or Net of all First Year Terminations. The data for this report is updated nightly. See next page for more details.

Production - Month to Date - Production report for current month including all activity through last business day. Total production is net of all first-year terminations (PTR’s).

Production - Previous Month - Production report for previous month. Included are all policies issued on or before the last business day of the month. Total production is net of first year terminations (PTR’s).

Production - Previous Week - Production report for most recent Monday through Sunday. Total production is net of first year terminations (PTR’s).

Production - Previous Year - Production report for the previous year. Total production is net of first year termina-tions. The data for this report is updated nightly.

Production - Year to Date - Production report for current year including all activity through last business day. Total production is net of all first year terminations (PTR’s).

Note: The following reports will only display data for our funeral home partners.

FH Monthly Assignment Report - Rolling 24 month summary of funeral home new business activ-ity, agent or agency business only.

Production by Funeral Home - Production by Funeral Home. User must specify date range and whether the report should include policy detail.

Custom Reports

1. Select a beginning and ending date for the desired data set. Hint: Clicking on the calendar to the right will make a calendar pop up to make it even easier for you to select a date.

2. Business Activity - Select if you would like to see business net of first year terminations, gross business or net not takens.

3. Policy Detail - Select if you would like to view detailed or summary information. 4. Click the OK button after making your selections.

This box will appear - Choose the file format and the page range and then click OK.

Exporting Reports

To Export a Report: In the upper left hand corner of the report box, click on the Export This Report button.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I check my commission statement?

A: After clicking on the Reports link and logging on, select either the Payment Date or Statement Date you want and then click the corresponding button.

**Please note that Commission Statements will only be available online.

Q: How do I print my commission statement?

A: Open the statement you want using the steps above, and then select either the Print button in your browser or go to File > Print. Hint: If the right side of your report is cut off when printing, try

changing the page orientation to Landscape. Q: When are production reports updated?

A: Production reports are updated by 7:00 AM CST Monday through Friday. Q: How do I check my sales totals?

A: Select the plus sign (+) next to Public Folders, and then select the Production Reports Folder. Select the report titled Production - Month to Date. The first page of this report is a cover page. Select the page forward arrow to see the report results.

Q: How do I log in?

A: The counselor log-in is as follows: User ID: Enter your SSN or Tax ID #

Password: 1st letter of business/last name (capitalized) + last 6 digits of SSN/Tax ID + Exclamation (!) The funeral home login information is found in the NGL welcome letter or contact your account manager.
