4 DEKO Distributor

A DEKO distributor is an extension of the DEKO service provision; a DEKO distributor is not only an expert in interior fi tting out, but also a consultant assisting architects, property owners, and end users through the entire specifi cation and installation process from the initial drawings to the fi nal handover.

Many of the distributors have worked with DEKO for several years and have an in-depth

knowledge of the products and how to install them with the best result possible whilst achieving the high DEKO standard.

The export department in Denmark keeps all distributors updated with the latest technical information from the research and development department and assists them with sales and marketing support if required.

Product Philosophy

DEKOs company concept is based on the provi-sion of a range of products and systems which fulﬁls design requirements, exceeds customers’ expectations, and meets with statutory require-ments.

DEKO has achieved the European Technical Approval (ETA) and CE-certiﬁcates on the system partitions DEKO PV, DEKO PF, DEKO FG, and DEKO FG Fire.

DEKO system partitions are ﬁre and sound tested at the Danish Institute of Fire and Security Tech-nology (DBI) and at DELTA Acoustics.

DEKO BK ﬁre rated glazed partitions are MK-approved (Materials and Construction) by ETA Danmark.

DEKO system partitions, DEKO FG, DEKO GV, and DEKO Doors have all been awarded the Danish Indoor Climate Labeling.

DEKO Doors are certified at Danish Standard as concerns fire resistance and sound reduction. The quality assurance of DEKO is based on ISO 9001, audited and certified by Dancert A/S of Danish Technological Institute.

The DEKO proﬁ le partition is a competitive option, and the installation time is impressively fast.

DEKO PV is based on a unique steel framework. The framework is concealed with pre-treated gypsum boards giving the partition comparatively high impact stability.

The completed partition offers the appearance of a ﬁ nished drywall with slim, vertical, aluminium joint trims.

At fl oor, wall, and ceiling joints, DEKO PV is fi nished with slim aluminium profi les providing minimal, straight lines.

The DEKO PF profi le free partition has similarities to DEKO PV with slim aluminium profi les at fl oor, wall, and ceiling joints.

The visible panel surface ﬁ nish is achieved with discreet bevel edged boards which eliminate the need for visible proﬁ le joint trims.

Only the discrete gypsum board joint trims, which give the partition character, are visible to the eye.

DEKO MG brings light and life to traditional system partitions. The double glazed modules can be installed quickly into the system partition DEKO PV and DEKO PF, type 1090 and 1290, or a conventional drywall, without any need for on site based modiﬁ cations.

DEKO MG modules are preassembled and are constructed with 2 layers of 5 mm ﬂ oat or toughened glass. A high sound reduction up to 48 dB is provided due to the large gap between the two panes of glass, but the achieved value for sound reduction depends on the percentage of glazed modules of the total partition area.

The modules are produced in standard sizes: 9 x 10 M, 9 x 12 M, and

9 x 21 M with toughened glass, in natural anodised or white powder coated aluminium frame. Non-standard frame sizes and colours are available.

DEKO FG Fire – Fully Glazed Partition with Fire Classiﬁcation

DEKO FG Fire is a further development of DEKO FG fully glazed ﬂoor to ceiling partitions.

The glazed elements are installed in a slim structure with aluminium trim, where the vertical joints between the panes are fitted with a 3 mm black fire seal which matches the black border of the fire rated glass.

DEKO FG Fire has been tested and classiﬁed according to the latest European standards for ﬁre resistance.

DEKO BK is a specially developed aluminium framework which is compatible with DEKO system partitions, glazed partitions, and other types of concrete wall, brick wall, and drywall. Fire rated glass is installed with special glass beads without the need for visible screws.

DEKO MV Glass is tailored speciﬁcally for interior decoration and can be supplied largely in all heights and widths.

The fully glazed panel wall elements are made as standard with 10 mm or 12 mm toughened clear safety glass and are ﬁtted with natural anodised aluminium tracks at the top and bottom of each pane of glass.

As each glazed element is handled and locked individually, there are multiple stacking options to cause least possible inconvenience both to the eye and with regard to space.

DEKO Doors are based on a specially developed aluminium framework which can be incorpo-rated into our own system partitions as well as conventional concrete walls, brick walls, and drywalls.

The ﬂoor glass makes it possible to transfer daylight to the storeys below, introducing light to parts of the building where this was not previously possible.

DEKO HG Fire is single fire rated glazed elements fitted on a matching fireproof steel substructure, designed and developed with spacer joints which allow length and building site tolerances to be absorbed.

As standard the ﬂoor glass is supplied with a border of black graphics to conceal the perimeter steel framework.
