Loving Life is affiliated with Heart of America Bible College & Theological Seminary and as such is accredited to provide a Certified Christian Life Coach Program (CCLC).

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS:

 Must be committed to the Lord Jesus Christ evidenced by a continuous relationship with Him and full obedience to His will.

 Must have earned a high school diploma or its equivalent.

 Subject to approval by the LLCC & College Admissions Committee, whose decisions are final. ADMISSIONS PROCESS:

For your application of admission to be considered, all applicants must submit the following to the office at LLCC:

 Application for admission

 Letter of recommendation from Pastor or official church leader.

 Written conversion testimony.

 Proof of high school diploma or GED.

Upon receipt of the above items LLCC will do a complete evaluation in consultation with HOA and provide in writing to the applicant the final decision.

All fees are to be paid to LLCC/Cash; Money Orders; Cashier Check; Credit/Debit). The Book fee & shipping cost must be paid up front and will be deducted from the total cost. Once the total book fee is paid you may pay the balance in full or in monthly installments of 9 or 12 months:

Annual Renewal Fee:

Each LLCC credential must be renewed each year by the anniversary date in order to remain in good standing. This is accomplished through proof of Continuing Education. The cost for this renewal process is $75.00

Cost to Upgrade to a Higher Credential - $50.00 (From Level I to Level II and Level II to Level III) Cost for a Duplicate/Replacement Copy of Credential Certificate - $25.00

Continuing Education:

Continuing Education is defined as follows: This is an all-encompassing term that applies to obtaining contact hours across a broad spectrum of post-secondary (beyond high school) learning activities and programs. Some examples include degree credit courses, non-degree career training, self-directed learning, experiential learning, seminars, workshops, conference presentations, and class room lectures. The method and format of delivery may be face-to-face, distance/online learning, printed

texts/workbooks, the use of videotaped/CD/DVD material, tele-seminar, webinar, etc. LLCC in affiliation with HOA have courses available as well as DVD’s, CD’s and printed material that may be requested.

Acceptable forms of documentation for Continuing Education Activities:

 Certificates of completion

 CE letters or other forms of documenting participation

 Official transcripts and/or diplomas

 Reprints of published articles, book chapters, training materials, etc.

Certification Requirements

Basic Level 1- Certified Christian Life Coach (CCLC)

Requirements: (See Curriculum/Course Description)

Completion of Level 1 required 18 credits (3 Credits/course) with a passing grade of C or above. Courses may be repeated at the price listed under the cost section once.

Once the credential is awarded, maintain at least 4 CEs related to the incorporation of biblical principles and coaching skills with appropriate theory, knowledge, and professional practice annually.

Advance Level 2- Certified Advance Christian Life Coach (CACLC)

Requirements: (See Curriculum/Course Description)

 Current certification as a CCLC. This refers to independently practicing life coaches who incorporate biblical principles and coaching skills with appropriate theory, knowledge, and professional practice and are involved in the practice of Christian Coaching. Courses make be applied toward an advance degree.

Completion of Level 2 required 12 credits (3 Credits/course) with a passing grade of C or above. Courses make be applied toward an advance degree.

Once the credential is awarded, maintain at least 8 CEs related to the incorporation of biblical principles and coaching skills with appropriate theory, knowledge, and professional practice annually.

Professional Level 3- Certified Professional Christian Life Coach (CPCLC)

Identify and practice as a Christian Coach. This refers to independently practicing life coaches who incorporate biblical principles and coaching skills with appropriate theory, knowledge, and professional practice and are involved in the practice of Christian Coaching.

Completion of Level 3 required 6 credits (3 Credits/course) with a passing grade of C or above. Courses make be repeated at the price listed under the cost section once before. Courses make be applied toward an advance degree.

Once the credential is awarded, maintain at least 12 CEs related to the incorporation of biblical principles and coaching skills with appropriate theory, knowledge, and professional practice annually.

Curriculum & Course Description

Level I: Basic

1. PREMARITAL COUNSELING: (315) Getting married is a big step for anyone. This course provides the pastor or counselors with tools to help make marriage the happy change it should be.

2. PRINCIPLES OF CHRISTIAN COUNSELING: (316) Putting noetic counseling into practice.

3. EFFECTIVE BIBLICAL COUNSELING: (E07) Soul challenging answers for those counselors who desire to equip others to choose more effective Biblical living patterns.

4. EMOTIONAL HEALING: (E11) Healing for our emotions is one of the most needed ministries today. The releasing of hurts that cause spiritual, mental, and physical pain is the key to healing in the lives of people everywhere.

5. FOUNDATIONS OF FAITH I: (101) Covers doctrines of the Bible (nondenominational in nature) such as, the Scriptures, the Attributes of God, Angels, Satan, Origin and Nature of Sin and Nature and Work of Christ.

6. Marriage and Family Counseling:

a study in the dynamics of the family structure and how to biblical restore them to the one unit.

Level II Advance

1. FOUNDATIONS OF FAITH II: (102) Continuation of the doctrines of the Bible such as, Atonement, Salvation, Justification, Fruits and Gifts of the Spirit, the Church, the Resurrection and the last things.

Alcohol and Drug Counseling:

There is hope for the alcoholic and address approaches to codependence and family dynamics.

HOW TO ACHIEVE SECURITY, CONFIDENCE & PEACE: (E34)

Learn how to be free from guilt by accepting the “righteousness” we have in Christ. Also learn self-acceptance and cultivating a heart of integrity.

HOW TO COPE WITH LIFE’S PROBLEMS: (E35)

Insights on overcoming depression, fear, anger, guilt complex, rejection, bitterness, rebellion, and other personal growth needs. Excellent for those interested in counseling to meet the needs of the body of Christ

Level III Professional

1. HOW TO START & MANAGE COUNSELING BUSINESS: (515) Develop and structure your counseling

business. Learn how to maximize the market at a minimal cost. Set goals, budget your time & finances. Learn about counseling ethics, taxes and the law.

2. LAW FOR THE CHRISTIAN COUNSELOR: (415) Ignorance is no excuse. When one claims to be a

professional - he is responsible. Learn the legal issues of giving advice, information, disclosure and confidentiality. Know the social trends of legal liability privacy rights of minors, clergy malpractice, insurance, the law and litigation.

Curriculum Expectations:

 Course work is self-paced in your home through correspondence.

 Books are mailed to your home for ALL course work required for the requested level.

 Maintenance of a GPA of 2.0 with a passing grade of “C” for each course.

 Must successfully complete one (1) course before starting another.

 Credits may be applied to advance degrees through the University/Seminary

 Practical Ministry and Mentoring for Level 1 only includes: 1. Administrative oversight by LLCC

2. Review and evaluate materials/presentation prior to your first three sessions with Dr Broome. This may be accomplished by phone and email for convenience.

Annual Renewal:

You will receive a written notification for renewal 60 days prior to the annual

anniversary date of your initial certification.

 Complete Renewal Form and attach all documents for proof of completion of all required courses and CEs. (See certification requirements)
