Post-Exam Activity:
Documenting Fee Reductions
Step One: Fill in the appropriate fee reduction circle on the student’s answer sheet
in the “School Use Only” section:
Option 1: Low-Income Students (who meet low income family guidelines for
College Board, federal, and state fee reductions)
Option 2: Non-Low-Income Eligible Students (eligible for subsidies based on state
criteria other than the College Board fee reduction policy)
Only needs to be done once, regardless of the number of exams a student takes.
Step Two: Enter the number of AP Exams qualifying for fee reductions when you
calculate your total amount due online. ]

Before You Begin the Invoicing
Process
Be sure all of your exams have been administered
(including late testing)
Have the following information available for
reference:
copies of the Packing List you submitted with your
return exam shipment nearby
number of exams taken by students who qualify for
fee reductions available.
The Invoicing Process: At a Glance
After mailing your return shipment(s), you must generate and submit your invoice online on the exam ordering site www.collegeboard.org/school
Step 1: Generate invoice on AP Exam Ordering website Step 2: Submit invoice online
Step 3: Print your invoice
Step 4: Mail your completed invoice and payment to College Board’s AP

Step 1: Generating an Invoice
Log on to the College Board AP Exam Ordering
web site at www.collegeboard.org/school

Click on “Generate Invoice” under the Return and
Pay for Exams column on the right.

Verify the total number of exams ordered
Enter data to answer these questions:
How many of these exams did you use?
How many of these exams did you not use?
Click “Next”
Note: Make sure to include the count of exams submitted online, like Studio Art.

Indicate under Option 1 how many exams qualify for the
College Board fee reduction.
Click “Next”
Step 2: Submitting an Invoice
When invoice appears review for accuracy
If accurate, click “Submit”
If inaccurate, click “Edit Invoice” and revise as needed
Fees and credits will be itemized on the invoice
Note: Your invoice is not being actually submitted for payment at this stage. Rather, your information is being verfiied before final invoices are printed.
Step 3: Printing Your Invoice
Use the “Print Invoice” button on the screen to print out your
hard copies, NOT the print option on your browser or computer
Multiple copies will print out, each labeled at or near the top:
State Copy, High School Copy, or Program Copy
State Copy is sent to the Alabama Department of Education
Program Copy is submitted to College Board
File the High School Copy for your records
Sign all copies
Step 4: Mailing Your Invoice
You must mail invoice copies and payments required
by June 15, 2015 (postmark deadline)
Use envelope provided with your exam shipment
Late payment fee is $225
Mail Program Copy to:

admin to request reimbursement from ALSDE for exam fees.

Score Reporting
•AP score reports are available online in July to colleges, students, schools, and
districts.
•Students log in to apscore.org using their College Board account username
and password. They must enter their AP number or student identifier (Student ID number) to access their scores.
•For schools and districts, score reports are provided online at
scores.collegeboard.org.

2015 Exam Ordering Deadlines
March 27th Priority Deadline to ensure timely processing and delivery
April 1st Deadline for ordering pre-administration materials:
An order for preadministration materials can be placed only with the initial exam order. Orders placed between March 13 and April 1 will be delivered by April 13.
April 10th Extension deadline (each order received after this date incurs a $55
late fee):
April 17th Final deadline (no orders will be accepted after this date) Orders
placed by April 17 will be delivered by April 27.
May 16: Deadline for ordering alternate exams for late testing
Coordinators should call AP Services if an emergency occurs after these dates.
