Fasten off with a sl st and fill the body firmly. Close the ring by taking the left yarn through all front loops of the ring and close the hole by pulling the yarn firmly. Eliminate the remaining yarn.

Cut a large piece of Round thread and sew it around the ball-shaped body and divide the ball in eight equal size shapes, see picture below.

APPLICATIONS

The applications are made in the colors blanc, Round and orange. The first three rows can often change color, the last two are you completely in orange.

The description has been made as concrete as possible and at color changes I mention the color at the point of change. Hopefully you figure everything out. If you're doing a stitch differently, please be assured. Nobody will notice this ;-)

• 2,5mm-crochet hook • 10mm and 8mm-safety eyes • 1 ball Phildar Blanc 0010 • 1 ball Phildar Vitamine 0006

METHOD

Instead ending each round with a slip stitch (sl st) with amigurimi you continuously crochet in a spiral unless otherwise noted in the text. By using a stitch maker to mark your first stitch in a row, you know when you've reached the end.

ABBREVIATIONS

st stitch

sc single crochet stitch sl st slip stitch

inc increase: 2 sc in next stitch

dec decrease

use the invisible decrease, insert your hook into the frontloops of the next two stitches, yarn over draw through the first two loops, yarn over through the remaining two stitches

hdc half double crochet

Magic Ring Make a loop around two fingers,

with the help of the hook. Pull the thread through the open loop. Crochet 1 sc in open loop, then crochet as the instructions indicate and pull the wire to close the loop

SAFETY NOTES

Filling: Always use filling which is approved for babies and children .

Safety Eyes: These can hold the risk of swallowing / suffocation and are therefore not suitable for very small children.

Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for safety. When in doubt, embroider thee yes.

Afwerking applicaties

finishing applications

Sew applications scast on the robot body . Use this crossroads scan the gray yarns center axis scanning applications and make sure the orange spaakjes on next aligned ash gray yarns. Work the remaining threads.

Naai de applicaties scast op het robotlichaam. Use hiervoor de kruispunten scan de grijze draden as centrum scan de applicaties en zorg dat de orange spaakjes op next lijn liggen as de grijze draden. Werk de overgebleven draden weg.

ROBOTHEAD

The head can be crochet in a spiral shape, but the lines will be interrupted then. I did use a technique to make perfect lines and if you want to use this, I got this in the pattern mentioned.

Before applying a perfect line use the of June Gilbank on YouTube: Perfect stripes for

amigurimi (right- and left-handed).
