Cloudbuz is a MFT (Managed File Transfer) platform for organisations and businesses installed On-Premise or distributed through a public service over the Internet. To use the service an account is required which is obtained by registration or by receiving an invitation from a member.
All connected organisations can exchange and transform files through the service within the organisation as well as with external trading partners.
To create an integration requires no prior knowledge and is done extremely fast. Within 30 minutes after registration, you have created your first integration!
You can completely or partially replace existing FTP connections while collecting all administration and monitoring in ONE place. No more confusion about responsibilities between access points, history on file transfers or time-consuming detective work to search for specific transactions. In short, 100% control and maximum security on all file transfers!
Cloudbuz supports advanced organisational models and file transfers can take place with up to 256-bit encryption. Cloudbuz also supports a number of major publishers’ certificates. For many companies this is a must with the increased security demands for handling sensitive information and compliance with regulatory requirements such as Sarbanes Oxley (SOX).

Cockpit
Serving as a user friendly dashboard, administrators use a standard web browser to
review and control all file transfer activities.
Cloudbuz Cockpit gives administrators the ability to handle all file transfers and transformations from one interface.
The Web-based administration tool gives administrators a complete overview of all file transfers (internal and external) and transforms including client monitoring, user profiles, alarms, status reports and monitoring of logs, etc.
To search for transactions or provide statistics has never been so easy. Choose to receive reports in PDF, XLS or HTML formats.
The administrator can also create so-called jobs through Cloudbuz Cockpit, i.e. chains of events that are performed on a specific set of criteria and / or rules.
Global Services
Global Services is the engine of Cloudbuz ensuring the possibility of high volume
transfers between and within organisations.
One could compare Cloudbuz Global Services with the conductor of a major orchestra. From here, instructions are sent on what is to be performed on each client in the Cloudbuz cluster (the group of clients that can communicate). Cloudbuz Global Services also evaluates all the business logic and controls all processes and the workflow.
The architecture of Cloudbuz Global Services ensures the possibility of high volume transfers between and within organisations. Cloudbuz Global Services enables full control and maximum security for all files that enter or leave the organisation. See the section about communication and security. With Cloudbuz Global Services all integration processes in the organisation are fully automated and monitored. Cloudbuz Global Services is available as a public service hence it´s ideal when an organization wants to integrate with partners, customers and suppliers around the globe.

Enterprise Accelerator
Acceleration technology beating network latency.
For organisations handling large amounts of data there is a possibility to set up a so-called Enterprise Accelerator to maximise file transfer speed and minimise communication with Cloudbuz Global Services.
The Enterprise Accelerator is very easy to install and can be configured in minutes after installation. The architecture of Cloudbuz makes it possible to install an unlimited number of accelerators. You could for example install one in each LAN within the organisation.
Business Services
Extend File Transfer functionality with Transformations and Business Logic for a
powerful commerce service.
Cloudbuz Business Services perform transformation and conversion of data. The service breaks down, filter, and build data as configured in XML mappings.
When combined with the business logic in Cloudbuz Global Services, the Business Service is the last component for a powerful integration platform in the organisation or with external trading partners.

File Server Connector
Cloudbuz File Server Connector is the only component that requires local installation.
The connector is easy to install and is configured in less than 3 minutes.
The File Server Connector communicates over the http protocol with Cloudbuz Global Services to get instructions on what is to be performed on the client side.
If Cloudbuz Global Services is the conductor of the orchestra, the File Server Connector is the violinist or trumpeter who plays by given notes from the conductor.
Since all communications are initiated from the File Server Connector the solution is firewall friendly and organisations do not need to make configurations in the network for the service to function.
The Cloudbuz peer-to-peer architecture allows direct file transfers between clients (via accelerators). If direct communication cannot be established (e.g. due to firewall configuration), all transfers go through Cloudbuz Global Services. This eliminates the risk of integration problems such as network operations and changes in the local network.
FTP Server Connector
Cloudbuz FTP Server Connector makes it possible to send or receive files from existing
FTP's via Cloudbuz to other FTP's or file servers.
By using the FTP Server Connector an organisation can gather all FTP management in one place and handle all FTP Connections in a single interface through Cloudbuz Cockpit.
When transactions go through Cloudbuz you will get the file history and the ability to monitor all file transfers from or to your FTP.
The administrator can create new virtual connectors and use the built-in FTP Server Connector in the Global Services or if the demanded FTP Server is behind a firewall one could install a local FTP connector within the organisation's network.
Another aspect is that this gives the possibility to use the commercial services available in Cloudbuz such as transformations, and workflow, etc.

Security
All data is encrypted (AES 256 bit) through the entire transaction between all access
points.
To ensure the authenticity of a client, all connectors are installed with an X.509 Certificate. It is also possible to use certificates issued by any of the major certificate issuers.
Administrators can manage permission levels (read, write and full control) in shared folders.
