Using a job-ticket based print workflow, PrintgrooveJT Man 5 provides customers with a tool for easy and convenient ordering of print products. Print providers can route print jobs via the intranet directly from the source application to the printshops. There they can choose from a wide range of intelligent print functions to administrate all incoming jobs. Powerful Make-Ready functionality is included for professional job editing.
With its functionality related to templates and job tickets, JT Man 5 facilitates the automatic setup of devices and inline finishing and helps print providers configure and manage products automatically. Operators only need to do the setup once and make great time savings on repetitive prepress work forever after.

– Dashboard: The newly integrated dashboard helps keep track of orders and outstanding tasks. The calendar shows the orders by delivery date, order date, or print volume. An overview of recent and new orders as well as orders in progress is also provided.
– MIS/ERP integration: Via a CSV file, print data can be exported from the application to MIS and ERP systems. – Status tracking: Customers can easily be informed that
their order has arrived and can be kept advised of the status of their print job. Operators simply choose from a list of work steps and corresponding status types that they want to work with. All they need to do is create a suitable e-mail message for each one. The messages are then generated and sent to customers automatically.

– Configuration editor: The settings of printers, media, products and services can all be changed in a single window.
Job ticket
– Easy relaying of job settings: All details for printing of the job, such as page size, printing in colour or black & white, single- or double-sided, punched, etc., are compiled in a job ticket, which is relayed to the output device together with the print file.

– JT Hot Folder (optional): The JT Hot Folder automates the transmission process of print files to the Printgroove JT Man Server, improving speed and flow of recurring print jobs. PostScript or PDF files from the specified program are saved in the JT Hot Folder, linked with the print settings stored in this folder, and printed according to these predefined instructions. Files can also be placed in the folder using the drag-and-drop function.
