Hotel Sahrai, Fez

KEY FACTS

Hotel Sahrai is a luxurious Moroccan oasis within the vibrant and bustling city of Fez. Enjoying spectacular views over the sprawling medina from its hillside vantage point, the five-star abode is a veritable celebration of modern Morocco

Boutique in its very nature, the property comprises 50 bedrooms which provide an elegant harmony of local Moroccan culture and contemporary design – a stylish sanctuary where Fassi ceramics and gypsum patterns meet the latest in in-room technology. Floor-to-ceiling windows invite an abundance of natural light in each room, whilst warm colour tones, offset by crisp white bedding, enhance the overarching ambience that greets each guest

Home to two restaurants and two bars, Hotel Sahrai offers a host of epicurean options. Perched atop of the hotel with a chic bar and terrace and offering a wide selection of tapas, the recently opened Jungle Bar is one of Fez’s most celebrated hotspots. For an authentic taste of Morocco, Amaraz serves sumptuous local delights, such as Lham mhamer and orange blossom water perfumed rice pudding, in a luxurious yet laid-back setting that epitomises the essence of Hotel Sahrai. For those with a penchant for French fare, Relais de Paris provides flavourful Parisian brasserie favourites with flare. The airy light-filled Arcades, with its white marble bar area and plush seating dotted throughout, offers a convivial spot for guests to sample a light lunch, snack or drink until the early hours.

The only one of its kind in Africa, the exclusive Givenchy Spa at Hotel Sahrai is a Moroccan haven which exudes the perfect harmony of tradition and modernism ever present in all facets of the hotel. Givenchy spas are renowned for their exquisite treatments and the offering at Hotel Sahrai is no exception. Guests can sample a traditional Hammam treatment coupled with luxurious touches, and a dedicated health club – with panoramic infinity pool – is available for those who wish to stay good on their fitness regimes. Hotel Sahrai’s meeting and events spaces cater for private conferences, board meetings, lavish cocktail parties or intimate anniversaries. A dedicated private space can accommodate 80 people in a conference layout whilst the elegant surrounds of the Arcades and Jungle Bar on the rooftop are equally exquisite for events of all kinds, for up to 300 people.
