TABLET BASED SALES APP
Lifeplan had been using FuseMetrix ERP within their business for CRM, accounts and production planning for many years. Due to the nature of the pharmaceutical industry, full batch tracking has always been a key requirement at Lifeplan. As with many companies, Lifeplan sell not only to retailers, but also have a direct sales stream. FuseMetrix manages both trade sales and e-commerce sales coming in from their web shop. To assist with their growth plan they wanted to enable their sales team to view up to date stock levels, and place orders into the system while out at customer sites. A tablet app was created that synchronises stock values to the live system, and provides a quick tool for placing orders, direct from the tablet to the core system. The result, orders have increased and customers are provided with a faster lead time. The sales team are in control and are able to manage their accounts better. Head office are able to have faster information available to them, ensuring production is meeting the demands of customers. Because the app is local to the tablet they are not dependent upon an internet connection, only needing it when they want to synchronise.

Airkix operate indoor skydiving centres in the UK and managing tens of thousands of visitors each year. This requires a system that is scalable and can be replicated when new sites are built. Real time availability is pushed through to the company website and is also available to the customer service centre, where telephone bookings are taken.
