Bassoon Chamber Music Composition Competition, Inc. - BCMCC (2009-current) Founding Director

A 501(c)(3) national arts organization that hosts a bi-annual competition for

composers to write new chamber works that include the bassoon. Winning works are performed, recorded, and published.

• Single handedly devised and executed a national bi-annual competition • Wrote bylaws and incorporated, registered with State of Wisconsin • Applied for and obtained 501(c)(3) non-profit status

• Recruited judges, sponsors, partners, and musicians • Publicized competition and solicited composers • Negotiated recording and publishing contracts • Created online application and judging systems

• Organized the four winning composers and twelve chamber musicians for the recordings and 2011 IDRS world premiere concert

• Distributed and marketed CD

Aerial Dance Pole Exercise LLC (2010-current) Owner and Senior Instructor

A fitness studio for women specializing in pole exercise, a trial sport in the 2016 Olympics. Pole improves functional strength, which decreases performance injuries.
