5. Imaging Results Now Appear in Intraprocedure Sidebar Results Report (678266)

Imaging results now appear in the Sidebar Results in a sidebar report by default and click a link in the report to view the image.

6. Easy Breezy Barcoding with Medication Reminders (678621)

Medication reminder automatically generated by scanning a barcode

7. Blood Products - Improved Intraprocedure Blood Administration with Default Start Times (689616)

The start time, new bags of blood, new rate change, or new bolus are automatically populated with the current time in the Intraprocedure activity, when you click the Real Time button.

8. Blood Products - More Details to Select an Order in the Blood Product Selection Window (685688)

New order information and updated text in the blood product selection window makes it easier for clinicians to identify the order they need to document.

(A) new transfusions and existing transfusions appear in different sections, (B) status information appears, and (C) button clearly indicate the next step that happens if a clinician selects the order.

A highlighted message appears in anesthesia contexts if a clinician scans a blood product barcode that isn't on the list of verified units for the patient.

9. Comment at the System Level in the Problem List for your Preprocedure Evaluations (690102)

You can now enter system-level comments in addition to problem-level comments when reviewing the problem list in your pre-eval note.

10. Intraprocedure Infusions Appear in the Medication Summary Report in mL/hr (693395)

In the medication summary report that appears in the Medication Administration window in the Intraprocedure activity, the infusion rate now automatically appears for simple medications that can be converted to a rate in mL/hr. The infusion rate appears for both mixtures and simple infusions.

12. New Visual Cues in Intraprocedure Activity When Current Time Doesn't Appear on Screen (694871)

The grid and the graph in the Intraprocedure activity might not have the current time period in view in the following scenarios:

 If a window, such as a reminder, is open on top of the activity, the scroll bar does not automatically scroll to keep the current time in view.

 If a clinician selects a time column header to zoom in to that time range, the zooming can push the current time period off of the screen. After the current time period is off the screen, the grid and graph no longer contain the current time and instead stay focused on the time range to which the clinician zoomed in.

 After a clinician manually moves the scroll bar to view past or present data, the grid and graph do not automatically move back to the current time period.

Help make sure that clinicians are aware that they are not viewing current data and to prompt them to move the grid and graph to the current time to view updated information:

 When a clinician closes a window, such as a reminder, that has prevented the view from moving forward to the current time, the view now automatically jumps to the current time.

 To reduce the likelihood that clinicians move the view too far back in time to see current data, the view now starts only 15 minutes prior to the current time when a clinician opens a new case.  When the current time is not visible on the screen, the Go to Now button changes color from gray

to blue to draw anesthesia staff members' attention to it.

 After five minutes have passed without the current time being visible on the screen, a yellow warning appears. It states, "Not viewing current time" and shows two buttons: a snooze button and a Go to Now button.

17. Bolus Administrations Contribute to Estimated Volume and Can Be Stopped in Intraprocedure

(700166 and 701616)

When a bolus is started in preprocedure or on the floor before a patient begins anesthesia treatment, sometimes that bolus is still infusing when anesthesia treatment begins. For simple medication boluses that start before the Anesthesia Start event and continue after it, anesthesiologists can now:

 Stop the bolus with a Stop action in the Intraprocedure activity's Medication Administration window.

 See the bolus's volume in the Estimated Volume column in the Intraprocedure grid.

 Document a Stop action for simple medications that start before the Anesthesia start event with mixture boluses

Note that this change applies only to simple medication boluses. Mixture medication boluses that are started before the Anesthesia Start event cannot be stopped from the Intraprocedure activity, and their volume is not included in the Estimated Volume column. Different organizations have different

medication build, so work with your Willow team to identify simple medication boluses used at your organization.

Also note that boluses that finish infusing before the Anesthesia Start event are not included in the Estimated Volume column.

A Stop action is available in the Medication Administration window in the Intraprocedure activity for boluses that were started in preprocedure and continue infusing after the Anesthesia Start event.

18. Show Relevant Questions for Transgender, Intersex, and Nonbinary Patients (695413)

To better support transgender, gender-nonconforming, and nonbinary patients who have taken or plan to take steps to better align their physical characteristics or social gender with their identity, the

questions now refer to affirmation instead of transition.

The system now applies inclusive logic when showing sex-restricted questions to make sure all potentially relevant questions appear for patients regardless of their legal sex.

21. Anesthesia Events Appear in the Time Selection Bar in the Intraprocedure Activity (694259)

Anesthesia staff can now see anesthesia events in the time selection bar that appears below the grid and graph.

22. Easier to See When Multiple Procedures Are Associated with an Anesthesia Record (716487)

You can now easily tell when patients have multiple procedures. Only the primary procedure linked to an anesthesia record will show. Hover over the column to see any additional procedures associated with the record.

23. Sticky Notes (665506)

Jot down a comment for yourself on the yellow sticky note or a comment to share with other users in your specialty on the blue sticky note. Comments stay on the sticky note until they are deleted. Gray lines show you if the sticky note contains any text
