B. SOFTWARE INSTALLATION

1. USB GPS NMEA

Installation Procedure:

 DO NOT CONNECT the GPS before installation

 Click PL-2303 driver installer

 Click NEXT and waiting for installation, then click FINISH

2. USB LTE MODEM E398

Installation procedure:

 Connect the USB Modem to Laptop

 After the USB modem connected, will automatically prepare to install, click NEXT

 In “Choose install location”, clicks BROWSE, then choose your location to install. After that, click NEXT

 In “Choose start menu folder”, click INSTALL

 The GUI of Mobile Partner will automatically appear :

 Click TOOLS at the upper, then click OPTION

 Input the Profile Name, example : LTE-TDD SITRA, APN setting : STATIC, The Access Number: *99#. then click SAVE

3. GENEX PROBE V3.5

 Choose the folder “GENEX Probe V300R005C00-Soft-Dog-Patch”

 Then click NEXT, after that on the LICENSE AGREEMENT, choose I ACCEPT THE TERMS OF THE LICENSE AGREEMENT. Last, click NEXT

 Enter the user name and password & company name, the click next. Then on the SETUP TYPE, choose COMPLETE, then click NEXT

 Then, the installation require to install the GENEX Shared, click OK, and choose MODIFY, Then click NEXT

 In SELECT FEATURE, click all of feature, then click NEXT, then GENEX SHARED installation is finish

 Continue for GENEX Probe installation, then after the installation wizard complete, click YES, I WANT TO RESTART MY COMPUTER NOW, then click finish

 Then click GENEX PROBE V3.5 icon, then give the ESN number to the HUAWEI Engineer, after get the license, click UPDATE LICENSE

 Choose HI STUDIO 1.23.0 driver installer, and then click it.

 Click NEXT, on the Selection Destination Location, click NEXT

 On Select Additional Tasks, click NEXT, the on Ready to Install, click INSTALL

5. HISI UE AGENT

 Double Click on the HISI UE AGENT installer, when the GUI showed, click NEXT

 Click NEXT again, on the SELECT COMPONENT, click NEXT

 Click NEXT, check on the Create a desktop icon, then click NEXT

C. LTE DRIVE TEST USING GENEX PROBE V3.5

1. DO NOT CONNECT Dongle and GPS before open the GENEX PROBE V3.5

3. Then choose HISI UE agent

4. Then click CONFIGURATION > DEVICE MANAGEMENT > DEVICE CONFIGURE > add GPS

7. Then click to connect the device (LTE MODEM & GPS), see the state: CONNECTED

8. Import MAP by click , then click ADD, choose the MAP which want to open, then click OPEN

9. Create the Engineering Parameter in xls format:

10. Import Engineering Parameter: CONFIGURATION> ENGINEERING PARAMETER MANAGEMENT> IMPORT> then choose LTE on “SYSTEM”, click BROWSE, choose the Engineering parameter in xls format, then click OPEN

 Host : 10.1.12.149  Username : admin  Password : admin  Port : (none)

After input, click QUICKCONNECT, then choose 2 file on the right table:  1G_DL_1_from_149

 1G_DL_2_from_149

After choose this 2 files, right click then click DOWNLOAD > ADD FILES TO QUEQUE (click many times), then check the DU METER for the Download throughput. Make sure that the throughput is up.

13. For the UPLOAD test, the procedure almost same, but the differences is: choose file on the left side (Laptop hard drive) then, choose 2 FILE below:

 1G_DL_1_from_149  1G_DL_2_from_149

After choose this 2 files, right click then click UPLOAD > ADD FILES TO QUEQUE (click many times), then check the DU METER for the UPLOAD throughput. Make sure that the throughput is up.

the free folder

15. To view the RF parameter, click :VIEW (on the toolbar) > LTE > RADIO PARAMETERS

17. After the drive test finish, click to stop the record

18. For REPLAY the logfile, choose Logfile >open logfile, then select the datafile to be displayed. Click on the toolbar in tehe main window. During the replay, you can change the replay speed
