(6)

Transitioning from Classic to New

(7)

Challenges you’ve told us about

SLOW PROCESSES UNCERTAIN INFORMATION ADMIN INEFFICIENCIES

Getting a user up and running is slow and complicated

Do I have enough seats for my new hires?

Admins are limited and cannot be added with self-service

(8)

Improvements we’re delivering

FASTER USER ACCESS QUICK ACCESS TO INFORMATION FLEXIBLE ADMINS

Get a user up and running instantly

At-a-glance information available to help you make decisions

Unlimited admins can be self- service added

(9)

Assign by contract

Users are assigned to a product on a contract and will disappear when that contract expires.

They must be transitioned to a different contract if it expires.

Users are assigned to a product and are not tied to a contract.

If you have seats available, they’ll keep access.

If your contracts expire you won’t have to re-add the users.

Assign by product

CLASSIC NEW

(10)

Serial number based admins

Admins are called software coordinators.

You can only have one software coordinator per serial number, and they can manage all the users on that

contract.

You can self-service add as many admins as you need to help manage users, download products, and create support cases.

Team based admins

CLASSIC NEW

(11)

Contract-based scaling

If you have multiple contracts and want to expire one, make sure to move any users over to a different

contract first so they don’t lose access.

When you need fewer seats or fewer contracts, just un- assign anyone who doesn’t need the product anymore.

You won’t have to worry about Autodesk removing the wrong person – you know better than we do who should lose

access!

User-based scaling

CLASSIC NEW

(12)

Let’s jump into New User Management…

(13)

User Management by User

The user view allows you to search for specific users, quickly see what products they are assigned to, and efficiently make user-specific adjustments

The product view allows you to view users assigned to a product and quickly assign product access to many users at once

User Management by Product

(14)

User Details

In the user detail you can make adjustments to a specific user, view their information, and view everything the user can access

In the product detail you can see which users are assigned to the product and make adjustments, and invite and assign users in one step

Product Details

(15)

Secondary Admins

Unlimited admins to help you manage your users

Admins can manage your whole user list, instead of just a single contract

You can have unlimited admins

To promote someone to admin, just click on the user and select “secondary admin” from the role menu

(16)

One Persistent List of Users

When your contract expires your users do not

Users are automatically re-assigned to their product if you restart your subscription

All your admins see the same list

(17)

Sign-in to Access

No more serial numbers! Users can just sign in to any product they are assigned to

Just assign the user in user management and you’re done!

Users can simply sign into the product, no activation required

When a user upgrades to a new version or changes devices, you don’t need to worry about what serial number they were using before

Future deployments will not require serial numbers

(18)

Using the New User Management

(19)

How to Manage Roles

Set up your admins by clicking on a user and selecting “secondary admin” from the role drop down

(20)

Invite users to the list

Manually invite users one at a time or in small batches in the By User view

(21)

Assign a user to one or many products

Assign a user to many products at once by clicking on the user

(22)

Invite and Assign Users in One Step

Manually invite users one at a time or in small batches directly to a product

(23)

Assign a product to one or many users

Assign a product to many users at once

(24)

Unassign Users from products

Click on a user to remove their access to a product

(25)

Remove users from your list

To remove a user click the trash icon in the list or details page – this will remove them from your list, not delete their account

(26)

Switching to List view

In the list view you can see a top-level list of all your users with structures columns for role, status, name, and email

(27)

Search and Sort

Use the list view to sort your user list, and use the search box in any view to find a user

(28)

Usage Reporting

(33)

(34)

Improvements to Invite User Process

We’ve heard your feedback! The formatting requirements for inviting a user in the new user management can be confusing

In response, we’re making changes to the form to make this process easier to use o Option to use a structured form or a multi-invite textbox

o Multi-invite will support copy/paste from outlook and gmail

(35)

Bulk Import

Import large numbers of users into your team at once

This is useful when you need to fulfill many access requests at once, so you don’t have to manually invite them one-by-one
