EVENT OVERVIEW

Leprechaun Lap

For little lads and lassies under 10 years old the Leprechaun Lap is a 1k dash around Seattle Center. Kid friendly activities and refreshments await the 200 + tiny dashers after they cross the finish line. Awards for costumes and Irish spirit are given out in the Seattle Children’s Museum.

St Patrick’s Day Dash

It began 30 years ago as a race between bars and as a training event for an Irish Olympian. Now it’s Seattle’s largest single-distance run/walk, jog or crawl where the winners cross the finish before the last person starts. The Dash covers nearly 4 miles of city streets with a 15,000 person ribbon of green.

Beer Garden

Raise a glass to the Irish in us all. The beer and wine garden rehydrates 3,000 runners over the course of 3 hours following the race. A small selection of local craft beer as well as red and white wine is offered to dashers. Live Irish-themed entertainment and dancing as well as the cup tower are some of the highlights.

Post Dash Bash

The Post Dash Bash offers an opportunity for sponsors to showcase their goods and services to 15,000 Dash finishers. Put your product in the hands of potential customers and share information about your company while Dashers enjoy the entertainment, costume contest and positive energy of the Post Dash Bash.
