7. Objectives of the course (outcome of the acquired competencies)

7.1. General objective of the course  understanding of basic concepts of E-Business;

 mastering specific instruments of E-Business;

 identify the components of E-Commerce and E-Business webpages;

 identify the steps to convert a traditional business in E-Business;

 specific methods for E-Marketing;

 finding niche and competition evaluation;

 quantify impact of E-Commerce and E-Business on stakeholders;

 understand payment and transaction types in the Internet;

 understand the role of E-Business in the Global Economy;

 knowledge of legal issues with a focus on copyright in the Internet;

 knowledge of security issues in E-Commerce and E-Business;

 knowledge of methods of advertising in the Internet environment;

 build or generate a website for a real company;

 business administration in the virtual environment.

9. Corroborating the content of the course with the expectations of the epistemic

community, professional associations and representative employers within the field of

Course content is consistent with what is done in other universities in Romania and abroad (especially in the U.S.A. and Canada). To adapt the contents to the market and to the Internet environment, were held meetings with academics in Norway and France.
