1. SCOPE OF THE CONFERENCE

The organizers of the conference would like to invite you to take part in the next international conference on non-ferrous metals working

The conference in 2012 is connected also to the commemoration of the 65th anniversary of HUTMEN S.A. company.

The main subject of the conference is exchange of information between experts from industry and from scientific and research centres in the scope of new materials, technologies and equipment used in processing of n-f metals and application of new metallic and composite materials.

The conference is intended to be a forum for exchange of experience, establishing of new commercial contacts and acquiring knowledge on the most modern achievements of Polish and foreign companies.

The conference will cover in its scope the following subjects: Technologies and equipment for :

- melting and casting,

- hot and cold plastic working, - thermal and chemical treatment, - powder metallurgy,

- production of protective and functional coatings. New metallic and composite materials.

New processes for development of microstructure and properties of products. Improvement of functionality of non-ferrous metals based products.

New assortments and applications. Secondary materials and recycling.

Participants who wish to present a paper are invited to submit a 1 page (A4) abstract in English before March 15, 2011. Full text of a paper should be sent before May 1, 2012 . Papers will be included in the conference proceedings.

Language and presentation:

The official languages of the conference are Polish and English. Simultaneous translation will be provided. Audio-visual equipment will be available to the participants.

TERMS OF PAYMENT

The registration fee includes the full cost of accommodation, board and VAT. Please send the completed registration form before April 30, 2012.

Guidelines for authors:

The body of the paper should be in Polish or in English. The title, abstract, keywords, and figure and table captions, should be in Polish and in English. One printed copy of the paper (with attached tables and figures) together with its electronic version on CD or on other data storage medium should be delivered to the Conference Office by September 20, 2011.

Required structure of the paper:

• in the first line: first name and family name of the author(s), institution, country, e-mail address (using 10 point Times New Roman font, flush left, 1 line spacing),

• two line spacing,

• title (capitalised, 14 point Times New Roman bold, 1 line spacing, centred), • two line spacing,

• abstract in English/Polish containing not more than 150 words (10 point Times New Roman italic, 1 line spacing), • keywords (6 maximum) in Polish/English (10 point Times New Roman),
