CREATE A MOBILE LANDING PAGE

To engage users on mobile devices provide a mobile friendly landing page� Mobile landing pages ensure that your customers get the stream-lined and easy user experience they ex-pect on the mobile web� Here are some best practices that you may want to consider when building your mobile site:

Fast loading times

Mobile landing pages should be lightweight and load quickly� This is a general best practice, but mobile users are especially impatient and might have slower internet con-nections�

Direct and concise language

Text is hard to read on a mobile device so use as little as possible� Be direct and concise with a strong call to action�

Large text and big buttons

Use large text and big buttons that are easy to read on a small screen and can be clicked by a thumb�

ENABLE ZANOX TRACKING

CHECK YOUR PERFORMANCE

Use the normal zanox user interface to see how your mobile site performs� You can choose from a variety of options to differentiate mobile leads and sales from the ones you generate through your e-commerce site�

Option A: Tracking categories (CIDs)

Create a set of tracking categories depending on the types of mobile transactions you want to track�

Go to the Advertiser Statistics and filter your results by tracking category to check the number of leads and sales you generate via your mobile site�

Please note that you are able to assign different commission rates to your tracking catego-ries to reward your publishers differently depending on whether a lead/sale happened on a desktop computer or on a mobile device�

Using tracking categories you will not be able to differentiate the views and clicks from your e-commerce and your mobile site�

Option B: Suborder IDs

Include the parameter SuborderID in your mobile tracking pixel� The parameter allows you to pass a 10-digit string with every lead or sale that is tracked on your mobile site�

For instance, you could pass the string “mobile” with every mobile transaction, or you could pass the operating system and browser type (e�g� “iOS-Safari”)�

Use the Approve Leads & Sales tool to see which leads and sales you generated through your mobile site�

Suborder IDs are a simple means to store additional information with your tracking data� However, you will not be able to assign different commission rates to your suborder IDs� Also, please note that using suborder IDs you will not be able to differentiate the views and clicks from your e-commerce and your mobile site�

Option C: Mobile programme

Set up a separate programme that will only track the leads and sales generated on your mobile site�

This option will give you access to your mobile views and clicks and allow you to define separate commissions for mobile transactions�
