Screen Pop-up on Motion or Alarm Activation
View screen pops up into foreground when motion is detected or alarm is triggered. This immediately brings the event into operator’s attention.
GeoVision is please to announce the release of V6.0. The V6.0 release provides user more powerful management tool including advanced surveillance and search features,
networking solution, and integration of Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
V6.0 Feature Highlights
PTZ Dome to Preset Position On Alarm Activation
The PTZ dome turns to a preset position for region of interest on alarm activation. For example, if a card reader at the front door is activated, the signal directs PTZ dome to the doorway for the scene.
The new application counts number of objects (for example, people, vehicles) passing through a pre-defined area. You may define counter by object size, direction of movement, and detection area; the system then counts number of objects passing through the predefined areas. Counted result will be logged in the system log database for future references.
The Day-Night Recording Mode allows different recording mode for different time period of the day. Each day may be divided into 4 time periods, each represented by 1 span (up to 4 spans for a day). Each span may be configured to record by round-the-clock or motion detection.

Object Search
The Object Search allows you to specify a zone on an image and perform a search based on any motion occurred within that zone. A real-world application would be finding a stolen vehicle in a parking lot. First define the area (in this case, the empty park space), and apply Object Search for the system to find where the vehicle last appeared.
Thumbnail Search
In thumbnail search, one video event is displayed frame by frame in thumbnails in the playback viewer. This helps you to find a specific event within a video footage, which may otherwise be overlooked by other viewing option.

Brand-New Designed ViewLog
A brand new designed ViewLog software allowing better playback performance and more advanced search functions. New features in ViewLog include: 480 fps playback (16 channels in real-time), DirectSound audio playback, reverse playback, faster data loading time, and the following three advanced search functions.
Twin DVR
When a surveillance system serves large number of remote view clients over the Internet that may be threatened by network overloads, Twin DVR helps to balance server load by distributing service requests to another server. Twin DVR is a web server application that runs on a separated computer that helps to take the web user requests that may otherwise uptake GV system server resources for video monitoring and recording frame rate.
System Log
The System Log records major operational changes, sorted in five categories, into a database. You may browse all entries in the Live Log Browser, and click the entry to play back the associated video file, if available.

With Center V2, central monitoring station (CMS) can be deployed immediately because it brings multiple GV systems together into an integrated interface, allowing the operator to manage several systems from one point of control. The fundamental function of Center V2 is to attach video evidence with any alerts being sent to the Center V2, which helps the remote-end operator to determine nature of the alarm.
Central Surveillance by Center V2
Display up to 320 channels of live video. (24 channels on each page) Automatically display live video when surveillance site's motion detection or alarm occurs
