Law Society Finuas Network has teamed up with an elite international training team to offer you individual coaching and group training in leadership skills and practice.

Being the best - and being able to take a team with you - requires a highly developed capacity for leadership. Senior Executives in the legal profession and in financial services sectors are masters of their technical fields; but become much more valuable to their firms and businesses when equipped with leadership and management skills.

In recognition of the increased demands now placed on executives, we are extending our suite of programmes into the fields of executive leadership, organisational development, people and talent management.

EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME

For your team:

• Learn coaching strategies to empower personnel to achieve company goals Target group:

Senior executives who currently lead teams or are heads of units or departments. Must have a minimum of ten years

post-qualification experience.  Individual Executive Coaching: 

A unique feature of this programme is the inclusion of five (1.5 hr) executive coaching sessions with members of the team who are experienced Executive Coaches. Each module is followed by pivotal ‘one- on-one’ sessions offering confidential professional support with your leadership challenges. 

The final coaching session takes place three months after completion of the Programme and is designed as a progress check-in and an opportunity to maximise your learning from the Programme.

This innovative programme has four modules and is designed to work around your busy professional schedule. It takes place over four weekends.

HAMPTON

Antoinette combines her understanding of optimum human performance, gained through her training as a Psychotherapist in London and Dublin with over 20 years’ experience designing and leading professional and executive development for lawyers and other executive leaders. In addition to her private Psychotherapy and Executive Coaching practice (www.professionaltherapy.ie), Antoinette manages the Law Society of Ireland’s Counselling Service and teaches a new element of professional legal education entitled ‘Shrink Me - Psychology of a Lawyer’.

LEADING SELF: PROGRAMME TEAM

Walt was the managing partner of a law firm for more than 25 years. A graduate of The Cornell Law School, Walt practiced law in the areas of corporate and commercial litigation and criminal defence.

He spends part of the year in New York and the remainder in West Cork. Walt is now Executive Director of Summit Success, LLC, a global personal and professional development firm. Founder of the Positive Leadership academy, he is a leading authority on the application of Positive Psychology in the workplace. He is also best-selling author of Journeys on the Edge: Living a Life That Matters, named Top 10 Non-Fiction Book in 2013 and a 2014 winner of the North American Book Awards.

LEADING PEOPLE: PROGRAMME TEAM

Colette is a key member of the SEVEN team in the design and delivery of bespoke assessment and development programmes for clients.

Prior to joining SEVEN Colette was a HR & Talent Development Manager in Microsoft Ireland for seven years. She held a number of roles partnering across different areas of the business to develop sustainable high performance environments for teams and individuals.

Colette is an Accredited Professional Executive Coach and has received the European MCC’s Senior Practitioner Level Award. She is qualified in the use of a range of psychometric and personality assessment instruments.

Johanna is a Business Psychologist and the founder of SEVEN. She is a registered member of the Psychological Society of Ireland and a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society. Johanna has over 20 years’ experience consulting and coaching in a range of organisations.

Her client list includes Pfizer, Deloitte, Sara Lee International, KBC Bank, Louis Vuitton and the Central Bank of Ireland. Johanna is qualified to use a range of personality and values profiling tools. Her coaching approach is solution focused and will be supported with a clear action plan.

Orla Nugent is MBA Director at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. Orla is a commercially driven strategic decision maker with 23 years’ experience internationally in the public and private sectors spanning finance, technology and consulting.

She was a founder member of a successful technology company and currently holds two Non-Executive Director positions and is an elected member of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce council.

In addition to her degree in Engineering and her MBA, Orla has gained additional qualifications in psychology and coaching from UCD and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Cambridge, MA, USA.

Eadine is a leadership development consultant and accredited coach with Resonate Leadership. She has a passion for supporting people as they develop their capacity for leadership.

She has over 20 years’ international experience in consulting (Accenture), financial services (General Electric and IFG) and leadership coaching. Eadine holds a degree in Actuarial and Financial studies, an MBA and PG Dip in Business and Executive Coaching and Coaching Psychology. Eadine’s approach to leadership development is significantly influenced by her training in the ‘Art and Practice of Leadership Development’ at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, MA, USA.
