2008 TRI Japan Corporation established. New factory opened in Linkou, Taiwan. TRI won the EM Asia Best Supplier Award.

2009 Presented paper at International Test Conference (ITC) introducing VregTest solution.

2010 Launched the TR7007 high-speed SPI system, the TR7700 & TR7550 AOI systems, and the TR9000 PCB AOI system.

2011 Unveiled the TR5001T Tiny ICT and TR5001 INLINE ICT systems, the TR7007 SII SPI, the TR7550 SII AOI, and the TR7600 SII AXI system.

Electronics manufacturing is a carefully tuned chain of solutions working together in a production line to maximize output volume and quality while maintaining tight control over costs. Monitoring and controlling this chain is essential for stable production quality and process optimization.

TRI’s integrated solutions work with other vendor’s products to collect inspection information, share it across the production line and help automatically analyze and optimize production quality while sorting out defects for manual review and repair.

SPI CLOSED LOOP

Solder Paste Inspection (SPI) is one of key Quality Control components designed to minimize production losses by identifying solder paste printing defects in the early stages of production. In addition to defect detection, SPI can integrate with the Printer and other equipment in the production line to optimize quality, automate cleaning and identify the defective boards in placers, buffers and other in-line equipment. TRI’s SPI Closed Loop solution delivers these advantages to help minimize line stops, reduce material costs and minimize operator interventions.

SMART FACTORY SOLUTION - YMS 4.0

Electronics manufacturing facilities typically employ several production lines with multiple inspection stages to ensure early defect detection and correction. The Yield Management System (YMS 4.0) allows operators to aggregate information from individual TRI inspection systems for statistical analysis of production line defect rates, reviewing and fine-tuning inspection results, and identifying component defect trends and emerging production issues.

Designed as a modular solution for the smart factory, YMS 4.0 provides centralized inspection monitoring and remote access fine tuning throughout the SMT line. Built-in support for SPI, AOI, AXI and ICT systems helps track Alarms and SPC data to simplify production quality monitoring. The centralized inspection management provides top 5 to 10 defects with inspection images and management, issue and root cause drill down line by line, by station and by process, which improves quality and productivity analysis.
