• The AirSembly provider portal is the highest level in the platform, and is where the datacenter/IaaS operation can register capacity, set up product pricing, and set up a multi-tier channel (if applicable).
• In the provider portal, the vCloud Air management page allows you to establish a connection with on of the global VMware vCloud Air datacenters.
• A product manager will create a vCloud Air service blueprint which includes setting the pricing for key elements of the vCloud Air service such as compute power, cores, RAM and storage tiers
• The AirSembly platform will support 3 types of vCloud Air compute services - dedicated cloud, virtual private cloud, and virtual private cloud on demand.

vCloud Air services can be sold directly to end
customers, or through a multi-tier distribution
model involving distributors and/or resellers.
Each tier of the AirSembly platform
supports the white-label branding.
• A service provider can white-label the servic e, so when a distributor signs into the platform, the provid-er’s logo and branding are displayed. The provider can provide custom branding to distributors so they can go to market with their own branding.
• Similarly a distributor can customize/white-label their XaaS products and provide custom branding to their resellers.
• Finally, resellers can customize/white-label their XaaS products and provide custom pricing to their end customers.
An easy-to-use, self-service client portal
allows the end customer to consume
the vCloud Air services. It also allows for
full lifecycle management of vCloud Air
virtual datacenter compute services.
• A reseller can create a marketplace storefront consisting of 2 types of datacenters:
• Their own infrastructure based on vCloud Director or vCenter
• Resale of VMware’s vCloud Air global datacenters. • In either case the end customer can easily consume
the services.
• The end customer can select a vCloud Air service with a customized configuration as defined by the reseller. Note that the pricing is automatically updated based on the selections.
• At the checkout stage the customer can order the product, or a salesperson can email a quote to the end customer, save the quote on the customer account, or export it as a PDF.
• Once the customer orders the vCloud Air service, the AirSembly platform will automatically provision the services for consumption.
The self-service client portal support full
lifecycle management of the vCloud Air
