Capital Plan Progress Highlights



_{The construction for Sci-High is ahead of schedule with pile driving}

almost complete and concrete pile caps being placed.



_{McMain Envelope Repair Phases 1 through 4 have been completed,}

with the exterior repair and painting proceeding on schedule. The

project is scheduled to be complete in the 3

rd

_{quarter of 2019.}



_{Hynes ES Envelope Repair work began on 12/20/18.}



_{Ben Franklin ES Envelope Repair Phase 2 contract was signed on}

12/20/18, and work began on 1/2/19.



_{Construction, which is being managed by the RSD, is underway on the}

DBE Participation



_{OPSB’s DBE Program finished strong in CY-2018, with respect to}

capital projects. All General Contractors have displayed strong

leadership by strategically partnering with DBE Subcontractors, both

Tier 1 and Tier 2.



_{Since May 2018, Certified State & Local DBE Contractors have 35.05%}

participation on 9 construction projects at a value of $13,827,469.



_{Thirty-five (35) DBE Contractors (~78%) are currently participating on}

45 individual subcontracting opportunities and are performing 30+

specialized scopes of work.



_{Eight (8) DBE contractors are participating on multiple projects, which}

currently entails 40% of all DBE subcontracting opportunities at OPSB.

Project Status

Notice to Proceed was given 12/20/2018. Tile restoration work has been completed. Brick damaged due to issues with an expansion joint has been replaced. Brick has been removed in areas where water infiltration has been identified and further investigation is underway. Concrete repairs at the perimeter of the building are complete and parking lot repairs are ongoing.
