General support

This document describes latest product support dependencies for HP Server Integration products for Microsoft® System Center. The supported configurations and software requirements are listed in the latest version of the HP Server Integrations with Microsoft® System Center Support Matrix

(http://www.hp.com/support/microsoft/integration/supportmatrix).

NOTE: The version numbers in this document do not follow direct decimal numbering. For example, version 1.20 is newer than 1.3, where the number after the decimal is taken in its whole number.

Upgrade support of HP ProLiant Server OS

Deployment for Configuration Manager 2007

The following are the released versions of the HP ProLiant Server OS Deployment for Configuration Manager 2007:

WBEM Providers Support

The WMI MP is certified for all hardware events in HP Insight Management WBEM Providers versions 2.1 to 2.5. Each managed node requires either HP Insight Management Agents or HP Insight Management WBEM Providers.

Management protocol • SNMP MP for servers—SNMP service required locally on each managed HP server to enable proper operations of the HP Insight Management Agents and to populate the hardware state information.

• WMI MP for servers—No extra configuration needed. WMI is configured on Windows® server at default.
