The Silent/Live Auctions, called The French Market, is a critical fundraising component of our fundraising goal. The proceeds from these events support the organization’s scholarships as well as annual educational and cultural programming. Founded in 1912, Alliance Française d’Atlanta is a premier French language school and cultural center serving the metro-‐Atlanta area. Your donation is tax-‐deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Our tax identification number is EIN: 58-‐ 1516544. The Ooh La La Ball will take place at the Loews Atlanta Hotel. We anticipate approximately 150-‐
200 prospective guests at this black tie optional event. Tickets start at $160 and include a cocktail reception, tasting buffet, special French opera performance, and a live and silent auction. We have been the premier provider of French language and cultural since 1912, and as a result, we have come to acquire a prominent group of members. This group is business-‐savvy, enjoys traveling, education-‐impassioned, and in love with French art and culture. Your participation offers you the opportunity to market the donated products or services to a diverse audience ranging from 35-‐70+ years in age, which traditionally supports the businesses that invest in this brand category of marketing.
Attached to this letter, you will find an Auction Donation Form. Please include the information about your company that you would like to be promoted or have displayed at the auction table, i.e., awards, reviews, reach of your product, statistics, etc. Help us to help you make your product as attractive as possible!

Guidelines for Donations
Donations should be a minimum retail value of US $100.
Donations should be valid for one year from the conclusion of the Auction. Dates of availability
must be clear and specified.
Donations should include the completed “Auction Donor Form”, a cover letter confirming the
donation, the actual donation, a gift certificate or voucher for the actual donation to be presented to the successful bidder, or a brochure or folder of the product or service being donated.
Donations should be accompanied with a description of the gift, product or service being donated,
including any restrictions. Please attach a business card, brochure, or any additional information, if appropriate.
