AIRGAS TECHNOLOGY Sdn. Bhd. was started since 2008, for the beginning, AIRGAS dealing
with supplying of Industrial gases, calibration, pure and mixture gases, to the local customer.
to be better serving the customer, AIRGAS increase the products line with Gas Equipment, and
Safety products, mainly for Emergency Response Team and Fire Fighting, AIRGAS also
do setting the Workshop for safety testing. Design, Supply and Install the safety workshop
equipment and refilling system. as one stop solution as high demanding on safety protection,
AIRGAS will having equipment renting and repairing for PPE and related products
Our Workshop
I Inspection and Maintenance II Refilling Room
III Cleaning and Drying IV Spare Part and Stock
What we doing ?
AIRGAS complete with all qualify equipment and devices for Inspecting, Servicing, maintenance, calibrating, repair, refilling, part replacement, cleaning and drying, for all type of safety apparatus, device, equipment .
with handle by trained technician, certify by most device or equipment maker, the equipment as SCBA set, EEBD, chemical suit, gas cylinder, fire man protection, Medical Oxygen, Nitrogen, Carbon Dioxide, fire extinguisher, etc
Inspection and Maintenance
POSI check for Face piece leak check
• Exhalation check valve opening pressure • Static face piece pressure
• Bypass flow rate
• Pressure gauge accuracy • Low pressure alarm activation • First stage regulator performance
• Breathing resistance at standard (40 LPM) work rate • Breathing resistance at maximum (100 LPM) work rate
VISUAL Inspection
• Visual external and internal cylinder condition with Endorscope, to measure the corrosion level. • Cylinder wall have any cut, dents, cracking, heat damage, welded, etc
• Measure the cylinder wall thickness at selection point • Check the physical cylinder weight with
the manufacturing marking
• Valve thread inspections, craze cracking, voids and surface crack
FULL FACE MASK:
• Cleaning and disinfection • Functional test and tightness test • Visual check of the thread of the filter connection
• replacing of the filter connection gasket, if damaged • replacement of check valve (non return valves), if damaged
• replacement of overpressure piston of the exhalation valve group, if damaged or older than 2 years. Replacement of inhalation valve if damaged.
• leak test and efficiency of the speech diaphragm and replacement if damaged Demand valve:
• Functional and tightness test
• Replacement of membrane, if damaged or older than 3 years • Replacement of the tilt valve, if damaged or older than 3 years • Visual check of plug-in / thread connection
Pressure reducer:
• Check of all seals • Functional test
• Replacement of the O-ring between reducer and cylinder Check up:
Check of the activation pressure of the demand valve, tightness test of the mask, check of the static pressure of the mask, medium pressure check, pressure gauge accuracy, high pressure leakage test, safety valve check.
SCBA MAINTENANCE
Visual inspection: Mask, demand valve, back pack, harness, HP and MP hoses, pressure gauge and cylinder
Hydrostatic testing / pressure test
Volumetric test
• Devalving and Filling with water for hydro testing
• Pressure test to 1.5 x working pressure • Drying and cleaning
• Valving and punch for the tested date Level 1, acceptable damage
– the cylinder can remain in service Level 2. Reject the cylinder, but it may be repairable.
Level 3. Unable to repair - condemn
CHEMICAL SUIT MAINTENANCE
• Visual inspection of suit, material and components • Test of gas tightness
• Maintenance of zipper and bayonet rings • Patch repair
• Replacement of rubber cuff and glove • Replacement of exhaust valve and diaphragm • Replacement of visor, face seal, boots
• Installation and maintenance of regulating valve / airline pass-through
VOLUMETRIC expansion determinations are required. It consist of forcing a measurable volume of water into a cylinder filled with a known weight of water at a known temperature, and measuring the volume of water expelled from the cylinder when the pressure is released. The permanent volumetric expansion of the cylinder is calculated by subtracting the net volume of water expelled from the cylinder from the volume of water forced into the cylinder. The total volumetric expansion of the cylinder is calculated by subtracting from the total volume of water forced into the cylinder (in attainingTest pressure), the volume of water due to compressibility and volumetric expansion of the test apparatus. Regulations do not permit this testing method to be used to qualify a cylinder for charging to 10% in excess of marked service pressure.
PROOF TEST . This method is permitted where
the regulations do not require the determination of total and permanent expansion. It consist of examining a cylinder under pressure for leaks, bulges and any visible defects. Certain specification containers, used exclusively in noncorrosive service, may be retested by this method.
