Locale and Time Synchronization Requirements

• The mid‐tier machine and the SAS server machine must be set to the same time. • The client tier is not required to be set to the same locale or time zone as the mid‐tier and SAS server machines. For information about configuring locales and time zones after you install and configure, see the chapter on post‐installation tasks in your SAS Revenue Optimization or SAS Size Optimization Administrator’s Guide.

SAS Merchandise Intelligence runs on SAS 9.2. AIX 6.1 requires SAS 9.2 Maintenance Pack 3. Supported databases • DB2 9.5 • Oracle Database 11G JDBC Drivers Corresponding to version of database Note: If you have to use DB2 9.7 instead of DB2 9.5, be aware that the DB2 9.7 JDBC drivers will be problematic. Hibernate This open‐source application provides a high‐performance way to persist Java objects to a database. Currently SAS does not support WebSphere Application Server 7.
