The majority of the slides in this General section are part

of an instructor lead, one day course called: ‘Overview of

the Techlog System’ and are not specifically designed for

individual user self training.

Documentation provided with the standard Techlog

package is available from the Main menu and can also be

called in context by using the F1 key.

Steps are underway to provide further on-line user self

training materials

Consists of two parts – dataset and

zone.

Zones can be created by:

-Data editor

-Graphically in LogView

-Graphical zone editor

-Zone editor

Zone colors are customizable

and patterns for each zone

can be defined.

By default, zone names sorted

by depth, but option exists to

change zone sort option.

Techlog – Workspace Management

Share workspace where data is

displayed, computed, etc to optimize

display of viewers and reduce the

number of open windows. They can

be created automatically or manually

(shown).

From this window, swap workplaces,

put an object in foreground, rename

any object or close a workspace.
