Marco is an experienced freelance consultant in business consultancy, project and interim management. He operates at the intersection of Business and IT. With more than 15 years of experience in consultancy and management, Marco is able to deliver excellent results for his clients. Activities In the role as process manager responsible for:

- Directing the establishment of work instructions and procedures within the implementation

project 'flexible contracting’. Because the flexible contract concerns a new chain of 1 internal and 2 external systems, extra attention was given to working with the chain.

- Creation of a User Acceptance Test within the implementation project 'flexible contracting’ to

accept the final product, including the installation.

- The direction and partial realization of the implementation of adjustments resulting from audit

comments of the Dutch Central Bank (in its role of Care Director) at the Health care procurement process models. Also concerned the interpretation and drafting of the approach, including coordination with the DNB.

Activities As a business consultant responsible for tuning and the creation of models of various processes for the IST and SOLL situation within the program BAS1S. This program focused on the consolidation into one system and one process of Achmea and Agis. The preparation of the models was done by intensive consultations with the business. Also been responsible for preparing the acceptance criteria and alignment with the process owners (senior management).

Activities As Change Manager responsible for the change process of the IT infrastructure (hardware and software). The task consisted of 75% line management and 25% of process improvement. Line management consisted of the intake and complete implementation of change requests. It was a pivotal role between organization and IT department. Important part of the process was the introduction of the ‘OTAP’ test lanes and associated method (MASTER / COPY), in order to guarantee better quality and availability during releases towards production. The communication and cooperation within the project organization is significantly improved, so it is easier to align several (project) releases. Also responsible for operational management and communication with applicants / clients / business / BIT architects and project organization. As a member of the staff within the ICT team also involved in overall ICT policy within the organization. Control of various employees back office, front office and staff.

Activities As a service manager responsible for port folio ` CRM & Sales.

Important component of the activities was setting up and managing a transition/transformation of a test team from a another organizational unit within Atos Origin to Service Center Test (SCT). Complicating factor was the simultaneous setting-up of offshoring of activities to India. Also responsible for

operational supervision and communication towards internal and external clients of Atos Origin. As a member of the Management Team responsible for setting up and monitoring the policies within SCT. Supervision of several test teams: 3 - 5 test coordinators, 12 – 20 testers.

Activities As a test coordinator responsible for the all test activities of the project service optimisation. This project entailed implementing CRM software (Update), a web service for producing tenders, web interfaces and the link direction central office. The project was characterized by restricted time and a very strict deadline. The chosen approach was short cyclic and pragmatic of nature. This

way an optimum result was able to obtain. As a member of the Project Management Team progress reported to the steering committee, also acted as deputy project leader. Supervision of multidisciplinary team: 1 information analyst, 2 application administrators, 6 testers, 2 programmers, 2 consultants of suppliers and 2 system managers.

Function Test manager

Activities Setting up and managing the complete User Acceptance Test for a Scan, Workflow & Archiving project.

As test manager responsible for the User Acceptance Test of the Scanning and Archiving part of the project. The project SLiM (Scanning Linked in More) was set up to create the so called ‘paperless office’. This project was part of the overall program MORE (More Operational RRB/RGB Excellence). Another responsibility was to give test advice for the workflow part of the project. Team size was 12 persons.

Results A successful executed UAT, so the implementation of the new scan and archiving method could be done without any significant problems

Activities Responsible for setting up test strategy & test organisation for the ‘Internet Loket’ (internet counter) This portal consisted of seven interactive web services, which needed a complete test approach. The approach covered the functional acceptance test, security test, usability and performance. Team size: 4 persons.

Activities Project leader within the extensive project ‘Basisverzekering’ (freely translated as the basic health

insurance) of Achmea Zorg. Main responsible person for the test and acceptance of the core

administration system IKAZ. Responsible for setting up the test organization, execution of the system test, FAT and UAT (from start to end). Team size: 24 persons (10 FAT divided over three teams, 14 UAT divided over two teams).

< As a consultant responsible for the set-up and guidance of the User Acceptance Test. The

combination of business driven test cases together with a flexible and quick method to set them up and manage them resulted in a broad use of all ABN-Amro Regional Operation Center’s within the scope of the project.

< As test coordinator responsible for the execution of the Functional Acceptance Test and the User

Acceptance Test. This was done for the part of the project that was involved in the ISAP platform (mainly the Asian countries). The team consisted of four functional testers for the FAT and ten users (located in India) for the execution of the UAT. Also worked a period in India during this project.

< Test coordinator for the sub-project ‘Technical components’ within the HERO (a reorganization)

project. Part of the project was building a new computer system for the administration of financing students based on component based development. Another important part was testing the workflow management tool on top of this system (6 functional testers).
