Why Train With Us?

How We Train

The Childcare Company and Laser Learning are dedicated to providing exceptional training and support for qualifications in childcare, supporting teaching and learning, playwork, and health and social care.

Our unique and innovative online training system, the Laser, gained us the Nursery Management Today “Nursery Supplier/Innovator” award in 2008 and has put us on the shortlist every year since.

Our Laser system has been recognised as such an achievement because it has been designed by established members of the childcare industry with a wealth of experience working in and managing nurseries, classrooms and schools.

The Childcare Company blends its award-winning e-portfolio system with dedicated individual assessment and on-the-job learning. Our online learning programme provides you with online learning resources in the form of online lessons designed to suit individual learning styles, and also holds all your work electronically so you never have to worry about losing it. It also acts as a dedicated communication tool between you and your assessor. As it is an online system, our resources and lessons are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

As a learner you will be assigned to a home assessor who will maintain weekly contact with you. All our assessors are highly experienced and will develop workplans and training strategies to suit each individual learner.

The Childcare Company is a driving force in online training and now provides courses in supporting teaching and learning, playwork and also health and social care, all of which combine our high standard of assessing and user friendly Laser system.
